Nintendo of America is taking its marketing to a new level and has invited a number of Playboy models to test out its colourful shooter, Splatoon. Who would have thought it? Still, the more exposure the action shooter gets the better. Splatoon should be coming out on May 29th in Europe according to a leaked release schedule that was uploaded on Nintendo Europe’s servers earlier today.

Well the thing about appearances is that they’re the first thing a person looks at when they see someone. Even I’m guilty of turning down a guy because they weren’t attractive to me, but tbh I turn down guys based on their personalities as well. My standards are pretty high, although I’m sure they’ll be knocked down as I get older, mature, and take off my rose tinted glasses, so I’m expecting to be single for a while. Other girls can be like that too, they have these extreme standards that only celebs, super models, or “dream guys” can fit. It’s not that you’re good enough, but they want to make you into something you’re not. Girls put on loads of makeup because they want to be noticed and liked, but at the same time if your partner only likes you with makeup on then your relationship won’t last. Same for you, if a girl only likes you with body spray and doesn’t eventually like you for your personality then she isn’t worth your time. And of course all this stuff can be applied for the other gender as well. Girls ARE complicated, but there’s someone for everyone. Keep looking and you’ll find her, or instead of looking for a gf find something else that’ll make you happy: traveling, hobbies, ect, etc. :3

It probably wasn’t reported here, but they’ve been working with Playboy, they did to promote Bayonetta 2 also. They actually did an official photo shoot to promote the game… Pretty tasteless photo shoot by the way, and Pamela Horton makes an awful Bayonetta in my opinion. She’s too short for one and does not fit the character well.
Obviously that promotion did absolutely nothing for Bayonetta 2, as this will for Splatoon. On top of the fact they could’ve simply hired models to better fit the role of Bayonetta, rather than desperately trying to be hip and cool by going to Playboy instead.
This is just baffling, with how strict Nintendo is with their consoles, this has me totally confused. We can’t have voice chat, we can’t have things like Swapnote anymore and we have to use stupid friend codes on the 3DS still…
But yet, let’s just advertise our games with porn stars?
