Along with the Nintendo Account registration now being open, you can also pre-register for the upcoming free-to-start Nintendo mobile app Miitomo.
A Nintendo Account is required to pre-register, and registering for this account will entitle you to My Nintendo points, these points will be valid to spend on rewards for up to 6 months after Miitomo is released in March.

Miitomo is a free-to-start* smart device app by Nintendo that lets you communicate with your friends through a Mii character of your own creation.
Everyone has something they wouldn’t normally talk about unless they were asked. Your Mii and your friends’ Mii characters will ask you questions, and then share your answers with you and your friends. You might learn something you never knew about each other!

As I’m from Norway, I can’t pre-registrer for either of them. Won’t even be getting Miitomo at launch, but oh well, we’re lucky enough to get My Nintendo over here!

These will be mobile platform points I assume? Considering prior news on here that console and mobile will be separated.
