Shin Megami Tensei IV Official Website Launches

shin megami tensei IVFans of Shin Megami Tensei IV will be pleased to hear that the official website has launched not long after new details emerged of the upcoming game. The website, hosted by Atlus, allows visitors to access screenshots, read about the game in detail, take a peek at the characters’ profiles and watch special video content. Shin Megami Tensei IV will release in North America on July 16, with a European release date still to be confirmed.

Devil Survivor Overclocked Patch For Nintendo 3DS Confirmed

Game publishers Ghostlight may have bitten off more than they can chew with the European release of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked on the Nintendo 3DS, as reports of bugs and in-game freezes become the recent topic of debate. Fortunately for players, Ghostlight are working with game developers Atlus on a patch which will fix temporary freezes when you summon a demon into battle and a crash found in the Auction House.

In an official statement from their blog, Ghostlight said: “Nintendo have also been contacted and will be able to help us both quickly and efficiently through the process of looking at a patch solution. Sorry that we don’t have any more news for you at this time but we are working as fast as we can towards a fix. We appreciate your words of support and continued patience through our first release on 3DS.”

Shin Megami Tensei IV Will Cost More Than The Average Nintendo 3DS Game

Although most titles on Nintendo’s latest handheld initially cost $39.99, Shin Megami Tensei IV will be priced at $49.99 when it arrives in the summer. Atlus Releases New Screenshots For Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers

In just over a fortnight, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers will be launched for Nintendo 3DS fans in North America – more than 15 years since the Japanese original. Set in the future, this dungeon-crawler RPG gives you a true otherworldly experience, where technology battles mystic forces to win the upper-hand over humanity’s fate. But to keep your inner demon-fighter at bay until April 16, Atlus have released new screenshots showing the battle-focused features of the game.

The limited edition portable game console will come pre-installed with Shin Megami Tensei IV, which launches on May 23rd in Japan. There’s no word on whether the bundle or role-playing game will come to the West. Nintendo and Atlus are also teaming up on a crossover for Wii U; Shing Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, which will feature characters from both series, is in development for the Wii U console.

Atlus And Nintendo’s Wii U Crossover Title Is An RPG

So far, little is known about the newly announced title; however, we do know that it will feature characters from Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei series and Nintendo’s Fire Emblem franchise. And although Fire Emblem titles are classified as strategy role-playing games, the crossover will be a role-playing game, according to Index. Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem will be released on the Wii U console.

Code Of Princess Coming Soon To Nintendo eShop On 3DS

code_of_princessAtlus’ latest action role-playing game for Nintendo 3DS, Code of Princess, launched in North American retailers on October 9th, 2012.

According to the Nintendo eShop, the game will hit Nintendo’s online marketplace on January 3rd, 2013. There’s no word on the price of the downloadable version of the game, but expect it to cost the same as the physical version, which retails for $39.99.

Code Of Princess – Action-Packed Versus Trailer

Atlus’ action RPG Code of Princess is coming to Nintendo 3DS in North America on October 9th. There are over 50 playable characters in the game, every character you meet during your adventure will become playable, and up to four players – either locally or online – can fight simultaneously.

Code of Princess will eventually launch in Europe, but a release date hasn’t been announced yet.
