While it seems Sony are having to justify to the media just why the PlayStation 3 price point is so astronomically huge, Nintendo is sitting back and basking in it's glory.

The company has been enjoying huge success with it's forthcoming Wii console at this years E3. For many gamers it appears to be the star attraction. As previously stated on the site the que's to actually get hands on with the Wii console have been extraordinary, with gamers being forced to wait from 4 – 6 hours just to get their first touch of the Wiis innovative controller and its games, which appear to breath fresh life into an often stagnant industry.

Highlights for gamers mainly appear to be Zelda; Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy and the amusingly titled Wii Sports, each one of these games using the controller in a unique way. It's certainly interesting to view the videos and look at the possibility's for future games on the system.

With reports emphasising just how much how much fun the Wii controller has been to use, and the games being relatively simple to pick up and play, could Nintendo's plan to take back the chunk of the mass market actually become reality?
