Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime recently spoke to news publication CNBC about the Wii’s successor.
Reggie Fils-Aime has informed CNBC that the next iteration of the Nintendo Wii won’t just be an upgraded system with High Definition graphics, but instead the next console but will add “more and more capability’s.”

So this means…. What exactly. That sometime in the future (near or far) there will be a new Wii? Who could have guessed that.
Didn’t he say this like, four times already?
Poor Reggie has to keep on repeating himself because some people just refuse to listen to him.
I’m excited! It’s gonna put lots to Games and the Wii to it’s full potential
Better have good online. And to be able to play DVDS!!!! THE PS2 DID IN 2000 AND STILL DOES.
It will also do some bad 3-D type thing where a 3-D capable TV is not reqiured
This could be REALLY good. OR HORRIBLY BAD O_O
Hmmm….why would they tell us this after they just told us there would be no new Wii?
Some things that I would love improved on Wii would be better Wi-Fi connections like Microsoft and more Wi-Fi games compatible with WiiSpeak. And if they can, add in a DVD player of some sort.
New Super Mario Bros should of really had online and support for the Wii Speak. Seems like a no brainier to me.
YYYYEESSS!!!! But they have to make it able to play original wii games and gamecube. Am I right?
