Online gaming publication IGN has reportedly got hold of the technical specifications of the Nintendo 3DS via an anonymous industry insider who is familiar with the systems hardware.
CPU: 2 x 266MHz ARM11
GPU: PICA200 133MHz GPU by DMP
RAM: 64MB
Video RAM: 4MB
Storage: 1.5GB Flash-based

well, the DSi had 133MHz ARM9 processor, had only 16MB of RAM, and only 256MB of flash storage, so yes, they are very good

1.5GB of flash storage is a tad excessive though, unless you can keep game saves on there.

Well, I’m sure they’re going to have a service much like DSiWare. I wonder if this means that they’re going to have a VC service for it as well?
It’d be pretty neat to download old Gameboy games onto your 3DS. Although I’m not sure if they would do that.
That’s three times more storage than the Wii. I just now filled that 512 mb.

@ Andalusio – Actually, for a handheld, it’s a good size for RAM. The PSP 1000 had 32MB, and PSP2000 – Go has 64MB.
