Whilst Nintendo announced a March 25th release for the Nintendo 3DS they refrained from talking about the pricing stating that it was down to retailers to set the price point.
It now appears that retailers have done just that with Game now advertising the system for £229.99 and HMV listing the system for the £229.99. Online retailer Play are listing the system for ten pounds less at £219.99 along with Amazon.

Oh shoot… I pre-ordered my 3DS from game in-store, I want to save £10 and get it from PLAY.COM. I suppose I wouldn’t be able to go to a midnight launch if I got it delivered from PLAY.COM though!
I advise using Shopto.net. Apparently they’re advertising the system at £219.99 and usually ship items out a day early.
Game usually change prices alot and considering they are claiming to beat any competitors pricing I suggest you wait a bit as the prices may drop even more..
I pre-ordered with game for £10. Gonna go in-store tomorrow and see if they’ll price match Amazon. If not I’ll be cancelling and going online with my order. (Their £10 deposit is refundable they told me.)
I’m sorry but how much is that in U.S
The 3DS will cost $250 in the US
Dixons is doing it for 199:
