New details have surfaced regarding Play Coins for the Nintendo 3DS with online gaming publication Aussie Nintendo stating that the Play Coins will be capped at 300.
Users can earn themselves a single Play Coin for walking 100 steps and can earn a maximum of 10 Play Coins during a single day. The Play Coins can later be used to redeem in-game goodies for a variety of Nintendo 3DS games including Super Street Fighter IV.

You should get coins for completing games because they’re not doing achievements. Say get 50 coins for completing a game so you could spend them on eShop games or more content for games.

Too bad where I live, driving is the only way to get anywhere and taking my 3DS around with me when I go to work out isn’t exactly appealing. Sigh… same thing for the spot pass system. You have to live in a city or frequent them to get the most out of it.
*Sorry for the long comment*Does anyone know what the average cost for a game add-on will be, Example: will a new thing in a game cost 20 coins or 100, well if you only can get 10 a day for 1000 steps it’s hard to get a lot of coins to buy something new for a game. I still love the idea! Also, waht is the average price for nintendo 3ds games, (i.e. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time FTW) will it cost $30 like ds games or 50$
Some of the additional Augmented Reality games are between 2-5 Game Coins, so not much.
