    1. Graphics isn’t everything…. you might just lose a “probably” great game because of their graphics.

      1. Oh I know graphics aren’t everything. But, It annoys me when a game such as this could have Resident Evil: Revelations quality graphics or higher, but the developers bring it back down to DS level graphics =/

          1. Actually some graphics on the DS were better then this, did they use the online completely, no, but they still looked better. And I hardly consider a 4 player game a MMO.

              1. Metroid Prime: Hunters, Dragon Quest Monsters- Joker is on par, Kingdom hearts 358/2 days and to be honest Nintendogs.

                  1. Maybe I am slighttly overexaggerating, maybe its just the fond memories of the DS making it a little stronger then it is, but I still stick to my guns and say that this barely counts as a 3ds title. It looks like an upscaled DS title with online.

              1. I know what your saying, but saying that your saying every game with at least 4 characters is a MMO, which is not true.

                1. So, you did not understood :p You can play your entire adventure with others players can be online, just like a MMO, understood what I’m trying to say now?

                  1. No, this is pretty much exactly what I thought you meant. But as an example. Legend of Zelda Four Swords is NOT an MMORPG and yet you can play through the entire campaign with friends. In the updated game for 3ds download, it can even be played solo

        1. the thing you have to understand is that some games use the 3ds’s power and resources on different components. this game uses a lot of power for the online features for example

          1. The graphics on Kid Icarus: Uprising blow this out of the water and feature a grand multiplayer mode which can hold 4-6 players per team if I’m not mistaken. I still havent used the multiplayer much besides Locally with one of my friends and it had AI driven CPU players

              1. No, you don’t but they could have easily done that if they wanted to and the graphics would NOT have been affected this much. they didnt do it, because they didnt want to make Intensity level 9 a breeze.

                  1. Maybe but what if I change the topic slightly. Xenoblade Chronicles is an MMORPG and on the Wii which means its not that far from Gamecube graphics, which the 3DS has. So I feel like this is a slight cop out.

                    1. Like the video shows, the gameplay is most like a Diablo game, have you ever play D2 online? Maybe I should compare with Diablo, that’s more reasonable…

        2. Not really, in fact is confirmed like the first 3ds game to use the 2nd CPU of the machine. The thing is, that they needed so much resources to make the co-op and thats the reason, but you have a gigantic RPG with endless options to play… I think is a pretty cool game. Unlucky i’m from mexico so I’ll have to wait to play it :(

          1. Ummmm the graphics on KI:U are way better and feature about the same online functionality. Also RE:R has a raid mode feature, while this only supports 2 players yourse;lf and one other, the amount of enemies on the screen is pretty massive at times, while they have only shown about 2 enemies per area in this game so far.

            1. You’ve got to be kidding when you say the DS could handle graphics like this xDDDDDDD

ridiculous, the DS was barely powerful enough to run n64 games and this looks much better than anything on the NDS

              1. I’m actually really not. Metroid Prime: Hunters, Dragon Quest Monsters- Joker, Kingdom hearts 358/2 days and to be honest Nintendogs are all at least on par with this game.

                  1. Whatever. I’m not a programmer so I can’t say for sure. But, to my eyes this is barely a 3ds title, it looks like an upscaled version of a DS game with online activity.

                    1. Upscale doesn’t improve textures, just look the textures of those games and compare with this game, simple like that.

  1. This game is gonna be huge! I like that they compared it to Diablo because I was thinking the same thing. If Nintendo has their own first party Dioblo like game, it would work very well if they make a Wii U version. The Upad is perfect for these kinds of games. Leave luck to heaven.

      1. I know it’s a first party title. That’s what I meant. If Nintendo had their own 1st party dungeon crawler or MMO a la Diablo, which Heroes of Ruin appears to be, they can use a console installment in the series to show off the capabilities of the Upad and Wii U online capabilities.

  2. Pre-ordered my copy from Amazon UK and am hoping it’ll arrive tomorrow. Its gotten decent reviews and frankly i’m glad to be supporting a new I.P and a unique game amongst the 3DS Library.
