Dragon Quest X for Wii launched in Japan on August 2nd, and publisher Square Enix is planning to support the title for a decade. According to Japanese magazine Nikkei, Dragon Quest X will get major updates every 10 weeks and Square Enix will offer downloadable content for the game for about 10 years.
That is until people stop playing it.

real shit man. SE need to remake FFVII (7) and shut the fuck up. I fuckin love sora but get tired of playing fuckin spinoffs on the psp, ds, and 3ds. i want an actual new console version taking advantage of the HD now available…. and BTW you dont want to know how many times i was dropped in dream drop distance. I actually put the game down after the 23 time….

I agree with that %100. They destroyed Final Fantasy. Seeing as Dragon Quest is more on the Enix side of development, I doubt that’ll happen.

yeah they need to make KH 3 and close out the story or at least stop all the damn spin offs for handhelds…. Im getting kinda tired watching SE take my two favorite series (KH and FF) and driving them into a brick wall…. and then pick em up burn em and throw them of a sky scraper, and take a piss on them from the roof….
