Nintendo Confirms Devilish Brain Training Delay

devilish brain training 2Only yesterday, we announced that Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you Stay Focused? for the Nintendo 3DS had suffered a production hiccup and could be postponed until September. Nintendo have now confirmed this, and in an official statement said:

Nintendo has made the decision to push back the launch date of Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can You Stay Focused? for Nintendo 3DS to optimise the best possible launch timing of this title within the European market. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to announce a new launch date soon.

UK retailer GAME still has the brain-strainer down for a September release, so could be a viable future launch date.

  1. It is probably because they might wanna show it off at E3 more and make sure more people notice them. Sometimes they have to do that if they need a game to sell more.

    1. Probable, but unlikely. They need to push big Wii U titles this e3, not 3DS. We need to see Smash Bros, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Starfox. The secret Retro studios game as well.

  2. Doesn’t Australia share the release dates of Europe? They do right? Yes more Wii U titles must be shown off!

    1. Australia has their own Nintendo but then again i really don’t know if it will be postponed down here to, it will be mentioned if it was.

    2. We do indeed, same region code (PAL), similar release dates. Mostly, anyway.

It now seems as if Nintendo confirms it’s delayed until September, while they only confirm its delay in general.

  4. I bet anyone that they might make a stage of this game for Smash. Concentrate on the background while fighting lol.

  5. I like when the say “announce a new launch date soon”. They said the same with scribblenauts unlimited for Europe. And thats over 2months ago. Nice works again Nintendo.
