Capcom has released its full year financial results, revealing that its revenue has jumped from $820 million to $940 million. This news is misleading, however, as the same report shows that overall game sales are down, with several big titles missing projected goals. Resident Evil 6 sold only 4.9 million copies despite expected sales of 7 million, while DmC: Devil May Cry moved 1.15 million games, just over half of its 2 million projected mark.
Capcom’s Digital Contents Business, which handles console, PC, and mobile titles and makes up over 67% of the company’s total business, saw huge losses, with overall sales cut in half this year. Revenue from online games, however, rose by nearly 46%. As a result, the company has announced an increased focus on DLC in order to sustain growth.
Capcom is hoping to pick up the pace in game sales with Monster Hunter 4 on the horizon. The company recently stated that it is expecting the newest game in the popular Monster Hunter series to break sales records. Monster Hunter 4 is a 3DS exclusive that will be arriving on September 14th in Japan.

So stuff on Xbox360 and PS3 miss sales, well not surprised. And they lost money on the tablet/mobile market, yeah again not surprised that is a market set up for failure in the first place for big companies.
So mh3u on both wiiu and 3ds where successful and bigger better installed base consoles. Capcom you should learn quickly what games sales where and fast.
Give us Dragons Dogma HD with all DLC WiiU and have nintendo of America Market that game; give Reggie and Scott Moffit something todo after operation rainfall.

Capcom the 3DS is going to make you millions with monster hunter 4 Ultimate ( See what I did there ?). Put Dragons Dogma 2 with a e-shop bonus buy of Dragons dogma one ultimate :). Nintendo makes companies money. Ask Ubisoft whom it is that sold most of their Rayman Legends :).

The worst thing about Capcom is that they keep giving unrealistic sales goals for their games and when those goals aren’t fulfilled, they rob the customers will DLC.
Old Capcom wouldn’t have had any second thoughts about making a new Darkstalkers. What did New Capcom do? Hold the game hostage by making its producting rely on the sales of a PSN remake of a much older game they didn’t advertise for shit.
