Xenoblade Chronicles Is $40 At GameStop

GameStop is currently selling pre-owned copies of Xenoblade Chronicles for $39.99 – down from $69.99. Additionally, if you use the promo code CAG16, you can get the role-playing game for $33.59. A few months ago, used copies of the game were being sold for $89.99, so you might want to jump on this deal if you haven’t yet played the Wii epic. Check out our Xenoblade Chronicles review here.

    1. I have this f*cking game. I’m not a big fan of RPGs, though, so I have only played it for 13-14 hours, or so. It’s been a while since I played it last though, so might try to play it again. Maybe I will get what all the hype is about!

      1. any nintendo fan should have this game, this is the game that you can rub in sonys and microsofts faces. yeah it took me a while to really get into it because for one i had to figure out how to play it. when i started to get into it is when i was in bionic leg. so it took me maybe around 15 hours or so to really get into it. at first i just didn’t understand some of the mechanics for how to beat doe bosses.

  1. Metroid Prime Trilogy is also the same price at Gamestop (I do believe it doesn’t include the tin case) another great game that’s worth the price

    1. i just bough Metroid prime trilogy Limited edition from a friend of my brother for 700 pesos, that is like 53 dollars, im playing prime right now! how i wish a HD remake

  2. I don’t know how feasible this is, but I would really like it if Nintendo could add digital GC and Wii games to the Virtual Console somehow. That would be a great way for them to not only patch games with any issues (Skyward Sword), but also allow for consumers to more easily obtain harder-to-get, and often overpriced, games. Xenoblade Chronicles and Metroid Prime Trilogy being prime examples.

      1. I’m not certain if this is in response to me (it looks like it is but the site redesign is kinda funky so it’s hard to tell for sure), but I’m not arguing against the value of the game, but rather the fact that since this is preowned Nintendo sees 0 of that $40+ value. I might be annoyed paying the equivalent of $65 for digital games on the 3DS eShop, but at least Nintendo are seeing 100% of the profits there. I’m wondering if it might be prudent for Nintendo to provide some games, at least, on the eShop to help promote them to those who never got the chance to play them originally and to avoid the preowned market overinflating the prices which benefits neither the consumer nor Nintendo.

        1. yeah and that why nintendo is fucking retarded. its there own fault they weren’t even going to release it in america. if it wasn’t for op rainfall or gamestop the game never would gave released. nintendo screwed monolith soft on sales and money, they arnt going to put it on e shop.

like i say nintendo is shit now and just want to create baby games and not releasing this game along with last story and pandora tower proofs it even further. thats exactly more reasons why the new nintendo sucks and that the shitstain reggie needs to leave because he doesn’t know anything about games.

all this is nintendos fault.its there fault its a gamestop exclusive and they are to dumb to reprint it.

            1. yeah after how many troubles, stop denying facts. you know what I’m saying up there is true. its all nintendos fault. stop damage controlling everything. x is confirmed for west, after they saw how fucking dumb they were. now that is. noe is all good though, they have been good for a while now.

            2. never mind your just a dumb nintendrone you will just ignore it nd hump your wii u. now I’m going to have a mental breakdown. since thats all you can say.

  3. this game suxs you need alot of time in yo hands to play dis corny rpg like 40 hours just gat over the tutorial 1st part you gotta be a big time looser and the story bland like some girl you burly kno just gets kill and thats your unoriginal motive bam!

    1. your dumb. haha. it took me 2 and a half months to beat this game and like 120 hours or some shit and thats with doing side stuff and exploring quite a bit. i did plenty more than just play this game you suck or just retarded.

games like wow or starcraft is for losers that just sit there all day being losers.

    2. dude just sell it and get skyrim like i did! this game got nothing on it. skyrim got better graphics too and it lets you do waaaaaay more than this crap

  4. I got this game(new) 2 weeks ago, and my WiiU cant read the disc. after ~2 hours in game i get disc reading error and have to unplug console. Sent the game to Nintendo, they as usual didn’t find any problems and sent it back to me.. And my WiiU reads metroid prime trilogy(dual layered disc), and all wii u games fine.. just not this fucking game

      1. I’m not the only one with this problem. Also, it worked before I made a new save.

Plus, I wasn’t going to pay $149 for one game.

  5. Turkey day! time to celebrate the death of thousands of native americans through betryal harsh treatment and inhumane acts of violence. Gobble gobble! ima go stuff my greedy gluttonous face to celebrate!

only wiitards living with mummy and daddy and plenty of time to spare will like this game. ppl got better things to do. plus the visuals aint all that you can see better on the 360. Xboxone #1! Go ahead and cry social rejected losers

  6. I NEVER HAVE ANY MONEY LEFT ON BLACK FRIDAY! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN NEVER TAKE ADVANTAGE OF BLACK FRIDAY DEALS BECAUSE I”M ALWAYS BROKE!!!!!

Seriously, I don’t get paid until the 1st (or possibly tomorrow, since the 1st falls on the weekend). Every copy of Xenoblade will be sold by then. : (

  7. OMG…….I GOT MY CHECK/CHEQUE TODAY! IT CAME EARLY. *dances* That means I can actually go to Gamestop if I wanted for Black Friday tonight. Hmm……..

    1. Go Metroid. I haven’t played Xenoblade yet (ordered it though) but metroid prime is considered a true classic and one of the best games on the gamecube/wii. Go metroid.

  8. This actually helped me find my wallet. I was ordering it and I realized I couldn’t find my wallet and went on an epic journey through my house to find it. Still not finding it, I called my movie theater (where I went to see the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special) and I found it. So this game is worth it just to find my wallet XD
