Fans of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series are set for a musical treat like no other as Symphonic Legends London, a concert dedicated to music from the much loved role-playing adventure series, will take place at London’s Barbican on July 13th, 2014.
Featuring music performed courtesy of Nintendo, Symphonic Legends London takes concertgoers on an unforgettable journey through some of The Legend of Zelda’s best-loved themes. With new and revised scores by renowned video game arrangers, Jonne Valtonen and Roger Wanamo, Symphonic Legends London squeezes every last musical drop of action, adventure, romance, heartbreak and heroics from soundtracks to games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The concert also features the world premiere of a brand new Overture of music from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, sending listeners’ imagination soaring to the skies and beyond.
Adding to the excitement, Symphonic Legends London boasts an unprecedented ensemble of musicians and singers on stage for a video game concert. Joining the world famous London Symphony Orchestra – returning to the world of video games following the success of the sell-out, Final Symphony concert in May 2013 – will be the majestic London Symphony Chorus. Encompassing well over 200 musicians and choristers, Symphonic Legends London brings the power and majesty of The Legend of Zelda series to musical life in emphatic style.
Symphonic Legends London is being developed by the award winning Merregnon Studios, the world’s leading video game concert production company. With over 10 years of experience in the genre, Merregnon Studios helped debut the first ever orchestral performance of music from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker in Germany in 2003, as well as being the first company ever to work with the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra on a video game concert.
Tickets for the July 13th concert will be on sale starting tomorrow 10 AM and range in price from £30 to £85. To book tickets please visit the official concert site, here.

Absolutely love orchestral music. Especially Zelda music. Hugs! Hi Pinwheel!
She’s too busy shaving that rain forest…
rude
I have to go to one of these
Zelda music is amazing. I wish they’d peform lesser known pieces such as the Ballad of the Wind Fish. It’s hard to complain, though, because all Zelda music is just fantastic. Attending this concert would be something I’d absolutely adore.
A Super Mario 3D World orchestra would be epic. Anyone agree?
They should get the voice of Zelda to sing at the concert. I would definitely go to hear that. Zelda has a beautiful voice.
Which Zelda are you referring to?
Ahh, I could totally go to that, I don’t know who I could take with me though or whether I have the money… I wish they gave more notice.
Wow this site is dead today.
Confused, is this the same Zelda music tour that was touring across the globe? Or a London orchestra using the music with permission.
