Game Boy Advance games are coming to the Wii U Virtual Console starting in April. in North America. The company says that classics like Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Game Boy Advance games are set to release on Wii U Virtual Console from April onwards. More titles will be released over time.
Now This should help Wii U sales. Imagine how much fun it’ll be to play games like Super Mario Advance 3 or Metroid on the Wii U? That’s something that I can get behind!

Haha I told that motherfucker on here that they were still coming to Wii U virtual console. This is why I hate arguing with stupid people on here. Honestly this was the best announcement of the Direct. I’m hoping that Golden Sun, Advance Wars, and Tales of Phantasia come to the virtual console.

Gamecube had a addon so you could play GBA games on your TV, and you could play gameboy pokemon games in Pokemon stadium on N64
Because they would actually make money on the 3DS… Anyone who hasn’t bought a WiiU by now isn’t going to be swayed by GBA games. Completely ridiculous. As a loyal 3DS owner, I am pretty much sold on ignoring the WiiU.

Played my friend’s Wii U and it just isn’t up to snuff. Even with Zelda and Metroid eventually releasing, those are traditionally single player games. So what is the point of the console? Maybe if there was online multiplayer I’d consider, but this couch coop fetish is ignorant. Sure I’d love to sit with friends and play… but with out of state friends and scheduling nightmares, it is so much easier to connect with the internet.
I understand wanting to push a struggling box. However, the 3DS is built to make money. Link Between Worlds is the best game Nintendo ever put out in comparison to both the Wii and U’s library. The moment SNES and GBA titles ever hit the Eshop for 3DS, I could easily drop another $50-100. :/ Perhaps once they get the bulk of their sales or they have cross platform availability, I’ll have my wish.

I think then it would have to be a remake and not virtual console for it to do everything you want.
