The Nintendo World Store has tweeted that it has some exclusive Mario Kart 8 information to share with fans sometime tomorrow. The tweet says that the announcement will “flip your world upside down” so it should hopefully be interesting.

I pre-ordered it at gamestop yesterday too but you can cancel it at anytime so no need to worry, I’ve been waiting everyday to hear about the blue shell trophy announced for the U.S. but at this point it looks doubtful. The guy on the NOA phone said he didn’t think we were getting it here but they never seem to know anything useful. If they do announce it though I’ll just switch it like other people have stated.
Is it true that they try to move the money you put down into another preorder though? I heard they get pissed as hell if you cancel.

I heard Nintendo is going to replace the WiiU with a new console named NES2. It will support 4K graphics and you can even use a mouse in FPS and RTS games. The online service will be called NES Online. Nintendo will require all online multiplayer games to support dedicated servers. Once a month you can get a free NES, SNES, or N64 game, it also comes with Netflix. One of the marketing lines is the old slogan “Now you’re playing with power!” Release date seems to be late 2016.

Nope. Still not yet. I checked my gmail this morning and apparently it said something was wrong I guess and it said package will be returned to sender. The hell? I told them my address. Just send it over!! I even tried to do the “hold for pickup” thing which I’m guessing they keep the package there for you to pick it up. I clicked on that option only to find out I need to make an account to do so. Ok, so I tried making an account and then it said “you cannot make an account at this time”. What the actual fuck. All this shit just because I wanted to get my Gamepad fixed… I’m thinking I should’ve just kept it and bought a Pro Controller instead. I’ll be damned if they send it back to Nintendo. What will I do then? Nothing. I’ll be screwed. :|

With Mario Kart 8 having pretty much been fully unveiled through the internet, perhaps the news is something new to do with a feature of the game, in which case would be really cool. But as others here seem to be thinking, it could simply be a special edition announcement.
