Sega Announces Tokyo Game Show Lineup

This year’s Tokyo Game Show will soon be upon us and publisher and developer Sega has outlined its plans for the event. They will be showing off new trailers for Sonic Boom on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and will also have playable builds at the event. Here’s the games that Sega will be showcasing at TGS.

Some Stage Events of interest:

  • Phantasy Star Nova presentation (9/18, 12pm)
    – There will be news updates about the game from the developers
  • Ryu ga Gotoku Zero presentation (9/18, 1pm)
    – The first stage event for the game, usually at every TGS that’s when they show off the long gameplay and cutscene trailers for RgG games
  • New Hatsune Miku Project announcement (9/18, 3pm)
    – New project announcement, no platform announced yet
  • Phantasy Star Online 2 presentation (9/19, 3:30pm)
    – There will be new developments and collaborations announced for the game
  • Phantasy Star Nova TGS demo playthrough (9/20, 2pm)
    – The developers will play through the TGS demo live
  • Atlus presentation (9/20, 2:30pm)
    – One hour presentation for Atlus on their upcoming games. The only one specifically mentioned is EO Untold 2, but maybe there’ll be something on upcoming Persona stuff?
  • Shining Resonance Gameplay presentation (9/21, 3pm)
    – First time they’re showing gameplay footage of the game

    1. it’s the same PSO2, it has been growing more and more with content like every other month, we are currently in Episode 3… it is a huge game (content wise) so I doubt it will ever see the light of day on a console but hey if they can do PSO Nova then we can see a version hitting the Wii U…. it would be game over lol.
