Nintendo America Unveils Zelda Majora’s Mask 3D Special Edition Bundle Featuring Skull Kid Figurine

zelda_majoras_mask_3d_america

Nintendo of America has revealed a new limited edition bundle for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. Set to rival the European limited edition, which sees a Majora’s Mask pin badge included, fans in North America will be able to get their hands on a special Skull Kid figurine, along with a physical copy of the game at select retailers for $49.99.

Though Nintendo of America has yet to announce a launch date for the upcoming remake of the fan favourite game, the limited edition bundle will launch the same day as the standard copy of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. We’ve yet to get a closer look at the figurine, but for now make sure you check out the boxed edition pictured above. Here’s the official word from Nintendo:

Fans of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask know the significance of the Skull Kid character. He is the face of the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems and, just like the game itself, can be described as mysterious and foreboding.

Now fans can own a beautiful collectible Skull Kid figurine to accompany them on their adventures by purchasing the limited-edition The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D bundle at select retailers at a suggested retail price of $49.99. The bundle launches on the same day as the game and includes both The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D game and the detailed Skull Kid figurine. The launch date will be announced at a future time.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D follows in the footsteps of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, which launched for the Nintendo 3DS system in 2011. Like that game, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is a reimagined version of a classic Nintendo 64 game with updated 3D graphics and new features.

Agreed, this exclusive garbage system must end…

Start Club Nintendo in Scandinavia and other countries were people play Nintendo games in the thousands and give us the same rights…

Advanced language, too evolved for simple minded creatures like you…

                            1. Indeed a language far to advanced, just as The Commander said; a language only mastered by us Truely Devoted to the Power that is Nintendo.

              1. The xbots abomination have to be eliminated. you and your elite command did a great job kicking the xbots out of this website.

              1. What?

Killzone is not developed by or published by EA. It is made by one of Sony’s first party teams, Guerrilla Games.

          1. As a Nintendo fan living in the U.K, I’m glad that North America is getting the better special edition compared to the U.K as more people will likely buy Majora’s Mask 3D there than here. I just hope that this isn’t a Nintendo World exclusive like the Hyrule Warriors special edition…

Europe’s been getting so many preorder bonuses and Club Nintendo goodies. I’m glad I’m finally able to get something.

            1. I thought this was a cool exclusive until I read that some people in Europe already have a chance at the New 3ds, this is like a pity prize for Americans. Still, I’ve been wanting a Skull Kid figure for a while now.
(Though I think some of us would have preferred Kafei…)

          3. something I won’t have because they will only sell it on us..not online.
They have to call them Nintendo of North America, they never think about the others americas,
but well, to good for you that live in the us, you are so luck

          4. Fuck can’t wait you guys don’t know how long I wanted this for north America know its finally happening I am so fucking excited loved. The original on n64 and the remake looks even better

          6. Aah no!! I can tell that the pre-orders for this thing are going to be taken up before I can get any money…

            1. They already have. Even when I first heard about it, Gamestop and Amazon was already sold out. And I’m not afraid to bet why. Ebay sellers, as usual.

              1. Stupid scalpers. Buying up all the copies just so they can sell them online. I HATE it when people do that.

                1. Same. There should be a law against that. Or, stores should only allow 1 copy per customer. I miss out on every special limited edition release because of scalpers (like the Wind Waker HD with the Ganon figure). Even when I try to pre-order ASAP, I’m still too late. Even on the same day it’s announced. CRAZY!

This is also Nintendo’s fault for not supplying enough to meet the demand. Same story with amiibos.

          7. Now I have this reserved along with the MH4U collectors edition. Not bad prices given how cool the figurines are. Now I just need a New 3DS.
