Eiji Aonuma Showcases Shooting Gallery Mini-Game In New Majora’s Mask Gameplay Video

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has been getting to grips with the gyroscopic controls in Majora’s Mask 3D during a newly uploaded video. Showing off his sharp-shooting talent, Aonuma takes on the Town Shooting Gallery mini-game while using a New Nintendo 3DS and its accompanied mushroom cover plates. Though he doesn’t quite manage to grab a piece of heart the first time round, we do hear three times is a charm, or so they say. You can check out Aonuma’s mini-game run in the video embedded above. Majora’s Mask 3D is scheduled to release February 13 for both Europe and North America.

  1. Of course he uses the small 3DS…but then again it’s not his fault the US isn’t getting them. NoA is to blame really.

  2. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

Besides some preferring the smaller screen because it’s easier to take it with you without a bag, these plates are so overrated and poorly made…

    1. They look pretty cool to me. Plus, it’s nice having the ability to customize on your own 3ds instead of having to buy a new limited edition 3ds. If they come out with a Metroid or Starfox faceplate, I will go rogue.

  3. Not buying “New” 3DS if XL is only available. My original (NORMAL sized) 3DS is falling to pieces, but I’d rather have it than an “XL” – It was a hassle trying to keep a DSi XL. I’ll wait years if I must.

    1. I even went to get the original 3DS (found one in black for $69) and planning to sell the 2DS with many games in it as well as that XL NES model I bought days ago planning to replace the 2DS.

  4. Meanwhile the LL model outsells the small 3DS by 3 to 1 in Japan every week. The small 3DS is no longer the standard…it is now the niche model. People don’t care about small devices anymore, as evidenced by the popularity of large phones.

  5. wow look at that new 3ds with faceplates, I want one… what I can’t have one. I can only spend more money to enjoy what others in europe and japan are enjoying. very well can I have some bundles to choose from say eight? no just two, alright can I get it with a game or charger? no…. hmmnn I can’t be sure but I think NOA is giving it’s loyal customers the finger… -_-

      1. at least they’ll be making a new rewards program… but not till next year. -_- I hate you too NOA. whats so ridiculous is that the U.S is where they sell the most of their product yet they treat us badly.

        1. Ikr, it’s like Nintendo hates those who treat them the best: No New “regular” 3DS (with no adapter too!), Club Nintendo closing down with coins evaporating into thin air (could they have at least made it clear whether or not those Club Nintendo codes are going to be used for the new rewards program or not!), giving us the New 3DS XL later than everyone else, poor Club Nintendo US rewards month after month, and just to end this, I guess releasing “Ambassador Edition” New 3DSes in Europe but not the US (I mean come on, you won’t even let us throw our money to you!) Ugh xD.

          1. haha I know it. I guess they don’t appreciate our form of currency! man that ambassador thing just ate at me. Honestly I feel really unappreciated , I was going to buy all their new in house releases, but I think I’m going to take most of that money and put it towards a pc or a nice set of surround sound speakers or something, seriously it’s like nintendo doesn’t care if we take our money elsewhere.

      2. And that pisses you off why and how again? Club rewards has sucked for over 3 fucking years and I’m glad its getting replaced, HOPEFULLY with better and more physical rewards this time.

  6. They’ve changed the colours of the octoroks in this version, which is good, because I’m colourblind and can’t tell the difference in the original, but can in this version.

  7. People always want what they cannot have. If the regular sized 3ds was available, nobody would want it. Theres a reason why the original 3ds is no longer on store shelves. Because nobody is buying them.

    1. Its because the original had some issues that often gives audiences a headache like the small screen with a glaringly unconfortable 3D viewing, bad battery life and a fucking skinny stylus thats almost as hard to hold as Galaxy Note 3/4 square sided sticks.

The new model basically addresses most of its flaws and adds new stuff to refresh the line up like the face plates which was the Gameboy Advance Micro’s main and popular selling point. I wanted to buy it and i have met several people in Gamestop this week talking about how pissed they are of not getting the new standard 3DS model because they wanted it more than the XL model. Way to go on pissing on US because the XL is somehow popular everywhere else and yet it still doesnt add a full sized second stick, a far better battery that doesnt cheaply boost it for an addtional hour or two instead of..IDK, 5 more hours to be fair and a higer resolution screen that’s 90% larger and could make the games look nicer than ever if it had one.
