E3 2015 is on the horizon and the latest news about the event states that Nintendo has decided to book a 299 seat theatre for the biggest gaming event of the year. It’s not been revealed how Nintendo plans to use it, but it could be for the traditional round table discussions that the developer has every year. Nintendo has also secured three booths this year for the event. These booths are 4822, 5244 and 5644 and are situated in the West Hall. Time to get excited.
Thanks, Lord Zedd

Probably going to be the general private/invite only meeting they usually have.
Do I get in if I achieve Platinum status on club Nintendo? No? That’s okay… I can just watch from way over here.
Nope. It’s usually only for business partners and the large media outlets like IGN and GameInformer. They don’t broadcast it either. We’ll probably get another E3 Direct this year. I’m okay with that as long as it’s not during the time I’m supposed to be at another conference or meeting. lol
I missed most of the Nintendo Direct for E3 last year because I had to be on the show floor early. I had to play catch up on the bits of news during the week.
That joke went right over your head didn’t it? *sigh* the Internet…
Obviously it was a joke. I was piggybacking off of the tongue in cheek comment and elaborating that we won’t even get to watch on “the sidelines” so to speak; especially for the inevitable comments about watching it streamed online.
Besides, Club Nintendo never gives out prizes that good. ;)
If you got the joke the first time you wouldn’t have been so descriptive in your comment about what the event is like.
Also they do stream the event, however not publically but others record it or dictate what is going on in live blogs.
Sounds like you weren’t piggybacking and more like… Chasing the pig around and flailing in the mud a bit…
Sure.
I think they might show off some new prototype hardware, and some demo graphics, get a head start on thoughts and feedback to what the new system might offer, I have a strong feeling that the next handheld well be X64 and the new home system well run on X86 with similar div kits, and well most likely support 3D and 4K TV sets.
My wish list is for slightly more power then what the Xbox one and ps4 offer, a HD (720p) WOLED screen on the handheld, and a similar HD screen on the next gamepad. I hope the next gamepad can also be used as its own stand alone device (its own simple apps, TV streaming, web browser, Nintendo TVii, and maybe micro sd support for music and photos. (like a simple tablet really) both devices should also use a new digital stylus to get better accuracy as well as add angle and pressure sensitivity.
I’m thinking that Nintendo well also focus on cloud, internet, and have a new division that works with QOL division to make educational games, as well as more recreational and health related games (cooking mama, Wii fit, brain age, art academy)
I’m thinking that Nintendo needs to buy Sega and platinum. Focus Sega back into making quality games and games for a more T and M rating and platinum well mostly I think focus on M games with unique gameplay and art style.
Thank god for livestreams.
My question is who builds a theatre and goes “build it with 299 seats, 300 would be too much”
Ones who want to watch the whole world burn
A corporate marketing salesman.
GET THIS THEATRE, ONLY $299.99
Smash Tourney anyone?
Your icon makes it look like you’re asking a genuine question. And yes. Smash tourney plz.
Do we know anything about these booths? They had a massive amount of show-floor space at last year’s E3 so does this leave them with a similar amount?
It’s the same space they have had for the past few years. Which I assume means Sony and Microsoft will have the same space as well – again. I have no problem with it. Keeping the big three in easy access locations is good for me. I can hop from one to the other without walking all the way to some other wing of the convention center.
Actually, I bet they’ll reveal their Quality of Life thingy finally. And I confess I don’t entirely care about that…. But I look forward to finding out more.
I hope not. E3 is for video games and Nintendo’s QOL products don’t have anything to do with videogames.
You don’t see SONY showing off their new television or stereo system at E3.
299 seats, where the general public isn’t invited. That’s what I always thought was retarded about E3.
Realize that 299 is a very small number in relation to the E3 attendees, which again leads me to believe that it will be Nintendo’s general private investors/business and media meeting.
Conferences like they have had in the past and those that Sony and Microsoft still have usually have stadium seating for thousands of individuals.
I’m sure Nintendo will just do another E3 Direct which has proven to be very successful for them the past two years.
Yeah. But I sometimes miss Nintendo’s old E3 press conferences. Everything in the Directs is pre-recorded and feels like I’m watching a LONG commercial.

A private screening for a first look at the Netflix Zelda TV series perhaps?
