The Japanese website for Mario Party 10 has gone live this afternoon and it shows a couple of new Amiibo which will be compatible with the game. You’ll be able to use Wario, Donkey Kong and Rosalina with the game once it comes out next month. That is if you’re able to get ahold of Rosalina, as she’s notoriously hard to get hold of at the moment.

what’s worse is that the only mode without the vehicle is the amiibo boards
No online for the main game is worse then that. The entire game is a disaster.

I’m not whining about the fact that amiibo’s are needed to access the boards. im whining that the boards are generic in the sense that they have the same layout and dont use the crappy car feature. they could of put more effort into them. they’re making so much money off amiibo’s. atleast put effort into the content they unlock.
What do you expect from Nintendo these days. Lately that is just how they’ve been sadly, they make all this money and never invest it into their products. They make more money overall than any gaming company but they’re behind everyone on the tech side and they’re hardware is always the cheapest built now.
Not surprising at all anymore. I sure miss the old Nintendo. The quality with some of the things they’ve been doing lately is really questionable.

I just got a sonic in the mail today, and a mega man on the way both were from walmart. I haven’t been able to get rosalina though.

It is nice that at least all the SM Amiibo have both feet on the ground. I guess they learned their lesson there.
This game will fail in the west except the UK because they seem to like Mario Party over there…

If they would have made an online feature i think it would sell really well.
Mario Party is not for online…
just because it hasn’t been in the past doesn’t mean it couldn’t be for this one.
I have a big family and still it’s hard to find a time when we all can play wii party u. and since these games are much more enjoyable the more people you have it would have been a nice new feature, that I’m sure a lot of people would’ve enjoyed.
Then play other games, just because some wants online doesn’t mean every game should have online…
And they could just create a new IP instead…
i agree not every game needs online, but what online game gives you the mario party experience? smash bros got online mariokart got it, neither of those had online when they started out but they evolved. mario party is another nintendo franchise that needs to evolve as well.

You guys forget, that, at least in europe, this game is only 39,99 Euros at launch, add two amiibos and you´ll still be under 69,99, which is the regular retail price for any X1, PS4 game.
