Looks Like Other Existing Amiibo Will Work With Captain Toad And Mario Party 10

amiibo_collection

We already knew that certain specific Amiibo work with both Captain toad: Treasure Tracker and Mario Party 10. What we didn’t know is that assumably pretty much all Amiibo will work with the games to give you additional things. In the case of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker you’ll be able to use random Amiibo to get some 1-Ups. With Mario Party 10 the other Amiibo figures allows you to play Scratch Bonus and earn Mario Party points.

  1. Here’s a dumb joke for anyone in any logic-based career:

Three logicians walk into a bar, and the Bartender asks, “does everyone want a drink?”

The first logician says, “I don’t know”
The second logician says, “I don’t know”
    The third logician says, “yes!”

    1. Nintendo Elite Commander Quadraxis

      Indeed so useless…

Why not extra stages or similar game concepts like in Super Mario Galaxy with “Purple Comet” event and things…

Completed Episode 1-2 soon done with the third so I can continue with the “Bonus” one…

  4. My reaction to this was similar to the “be sure to drink your ovaltine” scene from A Christmas Story: Captain..Toad….existing..Amiibo..free…..1UPS? Son of a bitch.

  5. Amiibo has so much potential but they’re not utilising it. I don’t care about costumes or 1ups or scratch bonus games. I want to see Amiibos appear as playable characters in every game that has Amiibo functionality, not just Super Smash Bros. Otherwise, what’s the point?
