Square Enix has officially announced a brand new Deus Ex game in the latest edition of Game Informer. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided won’t be coming to Wii U this time around and is scheduled for released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC. The game doesn’t have a release date yet, maybe we will get one at E3 in June. Here’s some details about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Set in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution, Adam Jensen returns and joins forces with an Interpol-funded task force aiming to hunt down and capture augmented terrorists in a world that now hates and fears transhumans. Jensen has a new suite of augmentations that allow him to cleverly navigate stealth, combat, and social interactions, but how Jensen chooses to solve every problem is entirely up to you.
At the end of Human Revolution, the Illuminati caused every transhuman to go into a fight-or-flight response and attack anyone near them. In the next issue of Game Informer, you can find out how this event caused humanity to hate and fear those with augmentations. We spent two days in Eidos-Montreal’s studio, talking with the team and learning about how they build a realistic future. We go in depth on some of Jensen’s new augmentations that help improve the stealth and combat systems, such as the ability to remote hack electronic objects, fire off his nano blade from a distance, and surround himself with a nearly indestructible nanoshield. We also got some great examples on how the game will be as open ended as ever, allowing players to carve their own path through the world. You can only get these details in the latest issue of Game Informer.

Yea, honestly I love my Wii U, and all my games I have. But Nintendo really missed the mark with the Wii U. Iwata made a mistake, and hopefully he has learned from it..

I know the Wii U is a colossal mistake from a sales standpoint, but it has been my favorite gaming console since the SNES.
Why? There are hardly any games worth playing on the Wii U. Mario Kart and Bayonetta and some will argue Smash Bros but the rest is mediocre at best.

I think it’s one thing to report that the game is being made and is skipping the system, but the article probably could have stopped there rather than continue on promoting the product and giving more info. That piece of the article is no longer Nintendo related news, good or bad.

Edios is not know for making game on Nintendo systems, the list is very small on the Wii and Gamecube. So it would be more news if it was coming to the Wii U.

This is why I can’t get into new videogame franchises. Either they have already started and put their like 3rd or 4th iteration on an existing piece of hardware I own, or they aren’t bringing the next iteration hardware I own which makes buying the predecessor game irrelevant (cough cough Watchdogs…cough cough Assasin’s Creed).
lol This is exactly why I’m glad I did not buy the previous game in this franchise on my Wii U, since I’d be screwed out of playing the next one on the Wii U with the control scheme I enjoyed. With Assassin’s Creed 3 and 4, I give them a pass since the story that takes up most of the game has barely anything to do with the present day story.

PS4 is going to still for getting AAA games and exclusives for the next 10 years, Wii U is getting discontinued end of the year and Zelda is moving on to the NX which will launch with the console, NX is just going to be a portable Wii U,and Nintendos worst selling console after Virtual Boy

Would’ve been great to play it on the WiiU. But what wouldn’t be? It’s OK if they focus on some plattforms that are more obvious choices to develop for. Sooner or later I might get a PS4 and then I’m going to play this game for sure as Deus Ex is just one of these franchises I’d just buy an upcoming game without even knowing too much about. Except Invisible War.
