Rumour: Could Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 Be Coming To Wii U?

call_of_duty_link_wii_u

We know that Call of Duty: Black Op 3 is coming thanks to a teaser trailer which was released yesterday. What we don’t know is whether it will come to Wii U. Interestingly a NeoGAF member has discovered that you can now link your Call of Duty account to your Nintendo Network ID on the Call of Duty website. It’s a new addition and could possibly mean that Treyarch will bring the game across to Wii U. However, we all know that the last Call of Duty game Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare skipped the platform. Let’s hope that’s not the case this year.

Thanks, thatoneguy

      1. I never have a proble with playing games on wii u, I mean I havent played everygame in wii u line up or beat them all like u, so I have a backlog i can catchup on going all the way back to NES, basically I am constantly playing games on wii u.

          1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

            >>>That is actually one of the few things that bother me to the core, how do they expect to sell a game years later if the price is the same as launch, it’s stupid>>>

            1. Another thing is the lack of options they tend to give us with 1st party demos.
There’s a dozen Nintendo games they could have made available as demos on both Wii U and 3DS.
I’m sure there’s a gazillion people world wide that would like to “try” certain titles before deciding if they want to throw down money or not.

              1. The fact they have a limit on how many times you can play most demos is a bit ridiculous in its own right. Who does that?

This happens on every console though, they don’t make a demo for every single game. Although I agree, from a marketing stand point it would seem like the smart thing to do, but some games are so crap these days the developers want to keep it a secret until the person who buys it realizes it is too late. lol.

          2. Lol. Too funny, but so true. There are some pretty old 3DS games at full price, a shame. I’ve always felt eShop sales are really lack luster in comparison to other markets as well.

      2. I have way to much to play, playing only Nintendo, and a few games on steam. Of course, I see why people would want more, but I don’t need any more games to play. And that is not a fanboy reason.

        1. And what if he doesn’t care about that game? Did you ever think about that? Not everyone plays the same games you do.

    1. No system can survive with those gaps between games especially when we’re talking about a limited number of games. Nintendo CAN’T SURVIVE without third party games.

  1. More options on N platform, hope this time if it is released they will promote it as well as the x1 and ps4, I remember seeing COD Ghosts displays only showing those two systems versions and acting like WiiU didn’t exist.

    1. Advanced Warfare skipped Wii U like Modern Warfare 2 skipped Wii, but after this Modern Warfare Reflex, Black Ops1 and Modern Warfare 3 were released on Wii, all of them made by Treyarch (on Wii I mean)

  2. NintendoCore - Procurer

Either way, COD is mediocre and used up by now…

Give it a few years, it’ll be back on top…

        1. Its not for sure, until they say. Yes, this game is coming to Wii U, id put down 2 dollla saying it doesn’t comento Wii U.

  3. The important thing now is to release Devil’s Third as soon as possible, the game is ready since january and Nintendo is keeping it on hold.
It’s a big error to wait too much and (maybe) to release Devil’s Third next to Black Ops 3

    1. I absolutely agree with you on that, but i doubt it since Nintendo sometimes got some dumb ass business ideas, it would be wise to dumb Devil’s Third before they do drop Call of duty

  4. Don’t get me wrong it be best on wii u out the consoles if we get it. But if we don’t what i said before just holds more weight

  5. Aren’t people bored of CoD yet? I mean, maybe if you like shooting people so much maybe join the USA military industrial complex and become a real killer.

    1. This is Treyarch we’re talking about here.

They’ve been keeping the game series a float for years because they keep making the good versions of Call of Duty.

  6. It won’t be on the Wii U and if that happens, Reggie’s gonna damage control by saying he would like COD on Wii U instead of just paying Activistion to put it on the console like everybody else.

Just saying it like it is.

  7. It would be relly neat if Black Ops 3 could make it on Wii U, but it’s a pity the sales on Wii U won’t do too well… Hopefully it could sell, because Wii U really needs more 3rd party support.
