In may not come as a surprise to many but it doesn’t appear as though Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is coming to the Wii U. The official site for the game specifies that the popular first person shooter series is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It is disappointing as the last Black Ops title was well-received by Wii U owners, but the latest edition will most likely be skipping the platform this time around. The official trailer for the game is due to be released later today.

Despite all of the problems I have with CoD, if BO3 came to Wii U I’d certainly buy it if just to show Activision some gratitude for some renewed Wii U support. If it doesn’t then I won’t feel guilty about skipping Guitar Hero Live because it looks awful and is too expensive.

Nintendo was stupid for releasing a console that is more similar to the PS3 and 360 AND somehow thinking they would get third party support. As soon as companies stopped making games for the PS3 and 360, it was obvious the Wii U would be dropped as well.
And at the same time, those “next gen” games still haven’t gotten any original game yet and still rely on so many last gen ports; true story of you look at the majority of their library. While Wii U gets more interesting exclusives and crossovers, what does the other two have besides last gen and PC ports? Nothing else but a pissing contest of who has better specs when PC easily overshadows whatever 2008 PC architecture is in those two “powerful” consoles.
It’s easier and cost friendly for developers, noob.

I hope that Nintendo’s next home console will not be an attempt to keep up with PS4/ XB1. They need to go a step further in order to be on par and have some chance. Third parties are done trying to create games of different power levels so have clearly given up on Ninty :(

All that would be needed was for the console to be x86 platform, rest would be up to Nintendo, if they would let third parties release sloppy ports to the system.

X86 won`t automically turn thirdparties back. You also Need to have a x86-compatible Network. Nintendo doesn`T use X86 for Network since ist expensive and- guess what? Easy to hack. Every idiot can hack an x86-device. Nintendos Network relies on Arm-code, which is nearly safe to hackers and easy and cheap to well- don`t have to shut it down each 3 year-cycle. Arm-Network of WiiU/3DS is RELIABLE.
I’m sure the NX will surpass the PS4 and XBone.

Pro-Remotes? There are no pro-remotes. What you mean is the Pro-Controller. And that is advertised. The Point is: Ist not in the box, ist optional. About 10% of WiiU-gamers buy it, i don´t use it. I use the Gamepad, cause ist used in ALL GAMES. And thats how it should be. Optional things will ALLWAYS be optional, meaning- no developers are caring for it.
Thats why the Remote of Wii was successfull (because it was in-the-box) and THQs graphic-tablett failed hard (because no one bought it because => no one saw a Point in buying it because => no games use it). See the Problem? If something is optional only a few People will buy it cause there is no Point in buying it. Thats allways the same Problem.
And since the Pro-Controller on Wiiu is only the 3rd Controller (the 2nd after the Gamepad itself is the Wiimote, since it also supports the VC, many older games and many Wii-games). See? Thats the real Problem of the Pro-Controller
You simply cannot use a Gamepad with all Features- and Support the Pro-Controller too- havint the same Kind of control in that game. It doesn`t work. You allways have to do compromises. Thats why the Pro-Controller is OPTIONAL. And ist ONLY for playing Hardcore-games like Smash bros or Mario Kart or cheap 2D-Jump n´Runs (like Rayman)- more comfortably. Thats the ONLY Point.
All other console-manufacturers let you Play all games with just one dumb Controller. NO selection, you allways have the same button/stick-Controller, designed with tech from ~1980. This is Nintendo. Welcome to reality.
