As most of you are probably aware Nintendo opened up a brand new map and added Ranked Battles and an additional weapon in Splatoon last night. Ranked Battles were previously locked and are now open provided you reach level 10. The new weapon is the N-Zap ’85 rapid-fire Shooter weapon which can quickly fill the area with paint. Hopefully I can get this game soon, but there’s so many new games budding out at this time it’s hard to make a decision on what to buy.
Splatoon should be top priority.
LOVING this game. Tge paint the turf mechanic is brilliant.
The N-Zap ’85 is too weak for my taste, but it is cool to have nonetheless. I hope they add other cool weapons in the future. F.L.U.D.D should be a weapon, maybe even the Poltergust 3000 which could suck up enemy paint haha, that would be an interesting weapon. I can see them adding in weapons that are inspired by other Nintendo franchises like Samus’ canon, Fox’s blaster or a gun that looks like the Great Fox, and maybe some sort of Zelda-themed weapon. It would be cool if they had the Hylian shield strapped to a players back and acted as a jet pack that propelled through the air with ink. They could do Diddy Kong’s Peanut Pop-gun too or Dixie Kong’s Bubblegum-gun.
Oh man, I just thought of the coolest thing. What if they added a Mario inspired gun where the weapon resembles the “pipes” from the Mario games and then for sub and special weapons you throw bob-ombs?
Oh, OH! They also HAVE to add in clothing that resembles other Nintendo characters. I will not rest until I see an Inkling with a Mario mustache on.
