Japanese Charts: Nintendo 3DS Sells 28K And Wii U Sells 10K

This week’s Japanese charts are now in courtesy of Media Create and there’s a few notable new entries this week. Yo-Kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad and Great Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken have entered in the charts at number one and number two respectively. However, they haven’t really boosted Nintendo 3DS sales as you might have thought they would. Still, the Nintendo 3DS is the best-selling platform shifting 28K and Wii U shifted 10K. Here’s the best-selling games this week.

        Because making fun of people born with down-syndrome makes you a better person than someone who makes fun of people that have recently deceased.

        I usually try to not get involved in conversations started by trolls, especially when it’s those doing it as obviously as “the sasoris”, but I couldn’t help letting you know that the response you have given makes you look as bad as the person you replied to.

        It’s just not selling well at the moment, it was kicking Playstations butt for about 5 weeks straight selling up to 16,000 more units a week if I remember correctly. The Wii U and PS4 go back and forth on sales. The Wii U just doesn’t have any games coming out right be so there’s no drive for sales. It will pick up a lot when more games come out. (And before you shout and roar about me being a “Nintendo Fanboy” I own a PS3 and want a PS4, I only don’t have it because it’s a little more than I want to pay and it doesn’t have backwards compatibility. Screw Microsoft though.)

          Oh no, I’m no fool, I won’t call you fanboy unless I see it fully. I actually see truth in your words though so I know what you mean. I’m just like you in that respect. I USED to be a fanboy myself until Gears of war 2 on the 360 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the PS2 as well as Guilty Gear X 2, and Street fighter alpha anthology.

        Come on everyone agrees vita is a horrible product and its selling better then the wiiu.

        There is nothing to say about a flop by Sony out selling wiiu

    The WiiU is doing well in that Nintendo hardly advertised Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade Chronicles X like they have with Splatoon. Even Fatal Frame 5 should have had a continuous ad campaign going for it. With its freakiness and all. Great week, five weeks running WiiU and 3DS running the Charts.

    F=ma.

    P.S Nintendo and 3DS in Japan have sold more content that all third parties and Sony combined in Nippon.

    The death of Satoru Iwata didnt even improve the sales of the Wii U

      Note, news of Iwata Sans passing came just 2 days ago. This is the sales for last week. Plus, Nintendo isn’t hoping or expecting Satoru Iwata’s passing to affect sales. Also, Zombie Iwata? Really? Just like I said to Church of Sasori, So some damn respect to the man. What are you? 5 years old with your stupid username that makes fun of the passing of somebody.
      Also, yes, PS4 is outselling the Wii U right now just like it is outselling the Wii U and Xbox One worldwide. Hey genius, guess what? We CAN read you know. We can see that PS4 is selling better than the Wii U. We don’t need your ‘Ingenius’ insight on what is happening.

      If that really is the case, then I apologise. But when you look at the name, especially this close after the passing of Iwata, it just looks wrong. Basically, it rubs me the wrong way.

        Same here but I have to respect his options of what he wants to be called, in his way, he’s respecting Iwata…however its what he says afterwards is what ruins the image he’s got. Though, everyone is not expecting much for sales. Fans are expecting the day he gets buried which is in 2 more days. Signs of Iwata’s legacy is showing big times. I’d say, “have faith”. It’s not the end of the world or the company.
