Here’s The Box-Art For Terraria For Wii U And Nintendo 3DS

terraria_wii_u_3ds

Re-Logic and 505 Games have posted the box-art for Terraria on both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS. As you can see from the image above it is kind of surreal, but to be expected given the game’s nature. We found out yesterday that the Wii U version of the ultra-creative title has local and online multiplayer. The Nintendo 3DS version just has local multiplayer. Terraria will also be playable at Gamescom next month and is expected to come out early 2016.

  1. The 3DS version only has local multiplayer? Oh come on! No one else I know has a 3DS and if they do they’re not going to buy this. Thanks >.>

    1. Honestly, I’m not going to buy the 3DS version either. I already have the PSVita version (I think it has online), but I’m not a big fan of controller controls for this game so I never got into it (I prefer keyboard and mouse since this game was originally made with that it mind). The PC version is superior anyways (well, the console versions have “extra” content, but it’s basically just new armor, a palette swap boss with higher damage, and palette swap enemies).

  2. Just a Star Fox fan.

I hope YOOKA LAYLEE gets physical release, otherwise WiiU game library is pretty scarce. Fast Racing Neo should get physical release aswell, atleast these indie devs get a moment to shine on WiiU, they should just use the lack of big AAA games to their advantage on WiiU, not even Nintendo is giving enough love to the system with the lack of Metroid and F-zero, feeling the pain of those fan bases after going through without Star Fox on Wii. Hopefully NX blows us all with thos DQ games and full Nintendo roster.

      1. Peanut Butter KitKat

While Everyone else shifts to NX, might as well wait seen as it’s taken them an eternity to get the game on a Nintemdo platform.

  3. It might look crappy but at least it’s a proper representation of what the game actually looks like. Unlike the Mighty N°9 or Shovel Knight box art.

    1. I liked both of those box arts. Plus mighty no 9s box art looks better than the NES north American Mega-Man box art. 😖

      1. Lol I didn’t mean it looked bad, I just mean that the cover doesnt show you the actual graphics of the game. Like a lot of the NES and SNES games. XD oh boy do I agree, that Megaman Boxart is still hideous.
