NintenDaan has managed to get his hands on the amiibo card packs that are currently available for purchase in Japan and has produced an unboxing video of them for your viewing pleasure. The cards work with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and can be scanned in via a New Nintendo 3DS or a original Nintendo 3DS with the NFC Reader/Writer. Enjoy!

Mm. It is possible they could be that much. I wonder how many rare’s other than the main characters like Nook and peeps there will be. I would like to snag Octavian and maybe a few of the squirrel villagers if they get cards.
This is rather ingenious. It’s the obsession of collection Pokémon cards, mixed with the fact you bring them to life on Animal Crossing. I’d prefer a mainstream AC game, but I have to give Nintendo props on this.
Nothing beats my original Charizard, Venusaur and Blastiose cards I pulled from packs waay back when it first started. But I agree with what you mean. : ). I don’t care what people think, the original set is boss.
If these aren’t really cheap, I’ll never buy them. Especially since there’s duplicate possibilities.
