The Japanese video game software and hardware charts are now in from Japan courtesy of Media Create. As expected Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for the Nintendo 3DS continues to rule the roost in the software charts. Splatoon isn’t doing too badly either as the Wii U exclusive shooter is sitting comfortably at number three. Interestingly, both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U received hardware bumps this week. Here’s the best-selling hardware and software in Japan.

Has sad has people are about not Having a Metroid prime game this gen is the best one for true nintendo fans.
Why dont people proof read their comments before posting??
Why the hell is Microsoft even selling consoles in Japan?! 195 units….can’t they take a hint?
At least they are dedicated unlike sony.
What do you mean?
The vita!
Okay. But it is doing well in Japan.
The same goes for the Wii U.
Microsoft are dedicated at all. They don’t do shit and they don’t care about the Asian market because they are bunch of patriotic westaboos.
>>>They have a suicidal mentality, that’s Xbots for you>>>
I though that it was fan pleasing.
>>>If it makes you humans happier believing the lie then sure>>>
Ps4 18 000
No ps4 game in top 20
please explain
Only in Japan
That’s exactly what I was thinking.
I had the same thought when I saw that hardware selling great but no game in the top 20….. even wii U software sell better…..
What is weird is that over 18 000 bought a ps4 without buying a extra game for it.
Who does that
must have been a hell of a sweet bundle
People who buy bundles? People who buy their games digitally? Just to give you two examples.
That NINTENDOMINATION! Even the WiiU is following its big brother the 3DSs footsteps.
F=ma.
Fates finally sold over 400.000 copies and well HHD is going to get to 1 million copies sold after 2 weeks from today I suppose
Mario Kart 8 the beast. 6th on the charts, even after all this time.
Yes indeed. Oh! my Nintendo News, where Sony and Xbots are more at home than their own sites lol. We are gamers, they our neighbors t copy everything.
F=ma.
Vita is still doing ok
Is it possible to pirate PS4 games? Because I really don’t understand how the PS4 can move that many units and not a single game sell 3500 units… There has to be more to it, like receiving download codes with the console purchase or something.
It’s really weird
Media Create does not include digital downloads of games, which is becoming increasingly more common – especially for a society like Japan that is so steeped in tech.
Hard to believe the 3DS is still doing so well. I’ve been bored to death with it for quite some time now.
