It seems as though Nintendo of America’s decision to publish Xenoblade Chronicles X has paid off as the Xenoblade Chronicles X special edition bundle shot to number one on the Amazon US best-sellers chart. The JRPG bundle even overtook the soon to be released Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the PlayStation 4. Sadly the bundle is now sold out, so if you want it you will probably have to pay inflated prices.

it has music on it, as for 4k it’s 2160p, it’s has 4x more pixels per square inch than 1080p, so you don’t see jaggery lines at the edges of objects
A USB graphics expansion pack is impossible with the technology we have now. Especially for a Wii U. Even if USB 2.0 was somehow fast enough, it would probably cost like $5000 to make a tiny USB like that that can render a huge game like Xenoblade X in native 4K . Even a PC that can play games in 4K costs at least $1500 if you want a solid frame rate and even then it can’t play every game in 4K. Your friend who told you that is either making things up or was confused and misunderstood something.
@Anonymous That’s not what 4K is. 4K refers to the amount of pixels that can be outputted to the screen. 4k has 4x more pixels displayed on the screen, but it’s not necessarily how many pixels per inch. That will depend of the size of the screen. There are 20 inch 4K screens and 80 inch 4k screens, but they all have the same about of pixels.
The point of 4K is more about resolution and detail than anti-aliasing though there’s probably less aliasing on anything that’s native 4k compared to native 1080p.
4K on home console? PC games are barely playable at 4K so I don’t see home consoles adopting 4K very soon or within next generation. Maybe 2 generations later..

Yep. It appears that this game is probably going to garner the same (or better) success in the West just like Xenoblade Chronicles.
If you think the fact that the limited special edition of Xenoblade X topped a game that’s been up for pre-order for several weeks is enough to tell the game is going to be successful in terms of sales, I have bad news for you: It’s not.
It’s always best to wait for official numbers after the game is actually out before making statements like that. Limited editions of big games sell out very quick almost always, so this really doesn’t mean much, I’m afraid.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is going to have special editions, console bundles and it’s starting to garner a lot of buzz and hype while launching in December…………you know….Christmas month? So if you think Xenoblade Chronicles X is not guaranteed to sell well then you are sadly mistaken

There’s a difference between theorizing between it selling well and not selling well. There’s also a difference between ‘selling well’ and ‘selling enough to warrant its budget’. We don’t know how many special edition units were made available, either, so the fact that they’re sold out without knowing that number means squat for accurately predicting its success. As Namie said, it’s best to wait for the numbers first.

The way best seller works on Amazon is quite strange. If you have a product that sells fast in a short amount of time it’ll most likely top the chart than a product that’s been out and is selling at a steady pace. Say, Xenoblade Chronicles SE reached that top, not because it outsold MGS, but because in the same time frame it sold more. The pre order for MGS has been out for quite some time and the fact that it’s at #3 (top 5) its a testament what that game is going to do in sells.
Of course I’m not knocking down Xenoblade Chronicles X, but lets not ahead of ourselves, specially when taking Amazons Best Seller list as a source. It’s a mess to try to understand, and its not very reliable when taking into account sales. Remember, they update it every hour and in any hour anything can top it.
It’s going to sell well, it’s the only good title that’s left, this with Mario Maker are the only games that will save the Wii U from the failure it was in 2015. And no, I don’t have an xbox or playstation, so don’t start stupid childish arguments based off of that.

I played the Jap version of XBX and it’s decent. If you liked XBC you’ll probably like XBX. But I have to agree with you MGSV is probably going to be GOTY on almost all platforms. Even GZ was amazing and it pretty much just a demo, a taste of what’s to come in PP.
Only to be beaten by either Xenoblade Chronicles X or Super Mario Maker.
