GameStop: Xenoblade Chronicles X Special Edition Available

Those of you who were unable to get an Xenoblade Chronicles X Special Edition Bundle on Amazon might want to check GameStop’s website. The US retailer is currently taking preorders for the Xenoblade Chronicles X Special Edition Bundle. If you want one it will set you back $89.99 and comes with the following:

  • The Xenoblade Chronicles X game
  • A gorgeous book of concept art with more than 100 pages, featuring select art for the very first time
  • A unique USB drive modeled after the game’s “Lifehold Unit,” pre-loaded with a selection of 10 music tracks from the game’s memorable soundtrack
  • A limited-edition matted 5×7 art card of a painting done for the game by illustrator Takashi Kojo

Thanks, N-Dub Nation

      1. If I didn’t check this page addictively i’d have missed it today also, but the second I saw it, I was quick to buy! Fortunately I keep my paypal stocked. Didn’t have immediate access to my wallet.

      2. Glad you got it man! I was actually looking for you on here since I know you wanted it too. I had alerts go to my phone for when this would pop up in stock and drove straight to GameStop only to find I had to do it online anyway, but I got it too. Been a bit on edge about this since the Amazon stock went out so quickly.

  1. Missed out on amazon. I would imagine this stays longer on gamestop since they seem to get a good amount of stock for most things.

  2. That USB thing is tempting but… I’ll stick with going digital with Xenoblade Chronicles X. I don’t see myself ever selling that game so might as well go digital with it. Besides, with the select few amiibo I’m collecting, I’m running out of room in my section of the bedroom.

    1. I am getting it for the art-book. I love when Atlus puts that kind of stuff out…well, and I guess the music too, but with some creativity, you could probably get it off the internet.

This is one of the two reasons I initially bought my WiiU at launch, I’m damn well getting the special edition, Lol.

I do normally apply your logic though, downloading games I don’t plan to sell. One difficult thing is, I’m running out of space on my jump-drive, so unless I want to attach a “real” harddrive to my WiiU, I don’t think I’ll have the space…apparently they used some special compression just to get it on the 25 gig disk.

Now the long wait for release… :)

  3. Pre-odered this afternoon, knew that my association with GameStop would come in handy. Even though I have to work tonight in order to see if anyone will do so tonight.

  4. I got mine! Though I still need to play through the original on the Wii…

Good thing I already have the game, and good thing I got it for $40 through GameStop’s Black Friday deal.
