Miiverse Website Gets A New Look

We know that Miiverse was redesigned this summer on both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, but the web version has remained unchanged. Well, that all changed today as the web version has had a lovely redesign to make it more appealing to consumers and bring about some updated features. You can check out the new look Miiverse website, right here.

Thanks, MasterPikachu6

  1. The ad really bothers me… I don’t mind ads – I see it as a great way for websites to support themselves… But two things here seem weird:

    > Miiverse theoretically comes with the console… Yes, it’s a bonus service, but I don’t see why we have to have ads when really we should be paying for it as part of the console we buy or the games we keep on buying. Miiverse isn’t a standalone service – it’s something that accompanies the console and service costs should be covered there.

    > The ads are horribly monitored. Right off the bat, I saw a scam ad asking me to download something. No, this is why people originally opted to use AdBlocker before it became popular outside of the nerd/geek community. Disorientating ads are the worst and don’t even promote a good or service but just a chance to open one’s computer to security issues. Considering Nintendo’s audience includes many younger children and parents, they are at a higher risk of being violated.

Nintendo is ALWAYS updating the wrong fucking facet of Miiverse. Before long, Yeahs will be added to the 30 limit thing meaning even less chances to post & comment in one day.

I hope that ad ends up with something from a fucking porn site & Nintendo gets hit with a shitstorm of pissed off parents. That would be an awesome day if you ask me.

Sadly, some idiots, if not most, don’t change til something horrible does happen. So unfortunately I have to hope something like that happens. Otherwise, apparently Nintendo will never learn. Hopefully they are learning from the failures of the Wii U & use it to make the NX the complete opposite. If not, I guess the NX will have to be an even bigger failure as it does indeed become the next Dreamcast. I don’t want this to happen but sadly, tragedies seem to be the only thing to wake up some people.
