Nintendo has posted two music videos on its official YouTube Channel for the newly released Xenoblade Chronicles X . Don’t expect any twerking mechs, though. The videos are simply a series of screenshots and promotional art, with comments by composer Hiroyuki Sawano sprinkled throughout. The quotes give some interesting insight into the development of the game’s music, including the inspiration for certain songs and the order in which the tracks were made. Hard to disagree, even if I do appreciate what they are going for… Music is, at the very least, very well made for a video game. They really made a fine game for WiiU
There’s a difference between a fantasy game (Xenoblade Chronicles) and a sci-fi game (Xenoblade Chronicles X). Sawano’s music in X truly fits the atmosphere of this JRPG theme. You don’t have to take my word for it.
The music gets a lot of hate on gamefaqs but I like all of the music and I’m still in the beginning of the game and can’t wait for the weekend to play xcx a lot
