Level 5 Is Teasing A Sequel To A Popular Game

Development powerhouse Level-5 has told Japanese publication 4Gamer that they are currently working on a sequel to a very popular game. President Akihito Hino said he wouldn’t say which game it is they are working on, but he did mention that the company is working on a variety of games in 2016 which are based on new ideas. Among these games will be the sequel to a game in a very popular series. Hopefully it will come to Nintendo platforms, but we shall have to wait and see!

  1. It’s not Yokai since 3 has been announced and 2 is likely being worked on by Nintendo’s Treehouse.

    It’s not Ni No Kuni since Ni No Kuni 2 was shown off at that PlayStation event earlier this month.

    So… It may be the true Layton 7 and not the Layton 7 that was shown earlier. Guess they saw how Force Awakens did after all and decided for a Layton Sequel Trilogy even though their own Yokai Watch beat Force Awakens out in Japan.

    1. WAIT, I RESCIND THAT. I mixed up the developers, both have “level” in their names. Next Level Games has FF, not Level 5. We are safe… for now.

      As for what it really is, now I have no clue.

      1. Jaded Ridley X3 {I'm not whining, you suckers... *cough* ..poor souls! I've just been driven insane by Nintendo failing me one too many times this gen!}

        I got confused, too, which is why I looked up Level-5 before actually making a comment about Federation Farce. lol
