Mortal Kombat X is nominated for family game of the year? Don’t get me wrong, I love the game… but FAMILY game of the year?
Some of the categories didn’t get bolded or separated from others. Editing mistakes. MKX is actually listed under fighting game of the year if you look closely.

That list is absurd. How Splatoon is not in Game Direction, Game Design and not even Art Direction!?
Yet it’s “Best Action Game”?!
lol When I said Mortal Kombat X or Dead or Alive 5 Last Round in Family Game of the Year, I laughed & was wondering how the fuck they get in there. Then I took a closer look & noticed Fighting Game of the Year was above them & wasn’t bold or separated from family goty & was also bulleted like the other entries in the category.
That typo aside, I’m glad they are doing Mobile & Handheld categories RIGHT by actually separating the two. Thank you, D.I.C.E., for not trying to screw Nintendo out of winning the handheld category by mixing it with mobile gaming & not even including a Nintendo game in the damn category. Nintendo might be failing with the home console right now but they do deserve credit for at least doing handheld gaming well.
