Now this is something to be seen to be believed! You can get the original Pokemon Red and Blue music on a special red and white Pokéball vinyl. The only issue is that the vinyl is limited to 500 copies and these would appear to have been snapped up. You can register your interest though, but whether anymore will be made remains to be seen. It costs $49.95.
You Can Get The Original Pokémon Game Music On A Pokéball Vinyl

$49.95 for a vinyl record? Uh, no thanks! I’m a collector, and I love nostalgia. But why do people even buy records anymore?
Much rounder sound than CD. Actually heard same track from a CD vs LP, and it’s quite the difference. Better? Preference I say.
Eh idk. $50.00 is too much for better sound quality, when literally the entire soundtrack can be found on Youtube and a good pair of gaming headset would do wonders compared to vinyl.
That, and you get to save $50.
You are crazy if you think YouTube audio quality is going to be enough for an audiophile. Even with good headphones.
Same headset wil diffrentiate on LP vs MP3. But you can say LP is for enthusiasts. That’s that. Normal people does what you do. Same do I/buys MP3.
Which, as we all know, is of utmost importance when listening to 8-bit soundtacks.
Zero reasons for this to be on vinyl other than to make it a more attractive collectible.
First though to my mind as well xD 8-bit on LP? Probably sounds better digital xD
Because the sound is analog and not digital. It’s the original sound wave instead of a digital reproduction, that’s what CDs are.
That, and records are just one of those old things, like collecting old Star Wars action figures or old comics. Depends on what you like.
Except this isn’t an old collectible. It’s a money grab.
It would be a reasonable price tag if it was official like the Banjo, Battletoads and Perfect Dark, but even those are 35 bucks and below.
I definitely like the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band influence!
Considering how the soundtrack was made, can someone explain to me why this would be worth the price?
And furthermore to this, isn’t there something about mixed colour vinyl having a lessened sound quality?
It won’t. The increased quality of the format isn’t needed at all, you aren’t missing anything by listening to this on mp3 in this particular instance. This is pants-on-head retarded.
I kinda really want this XD It doesn’t look like something that should be $50 though..
