-||Because it’s not only games that are less and less interesting, the gamers thenselves are more and more serious and boring too||-

    2. No X for you? FE Fates this week. With Xbox Gold you get a shit ton of free gameplay. Mostly demos and the first chapter of a bunch of games, but for budget gaming, it’s great to try everything!

If you just have a WiiU, I’d recommend trying to get into X, and FNeo if you fancy yourself with jedi reflexes…

I personally saw more exclusives that interested me through Microsoft, although I really wanted a PS4… It just didn’t have the games I wanted besides a pretty, beefy box.

I have a great job, but with real life, house, car and dogs – gaming is on a budget, and between the WiiU and our new XB1 setups, we’re not buying a game unless it will be hellava fun for all of us, or it proves to be a real gem, like I hope Scalebound will be. ;D

  1. I’m tempted to order another copy to ensure I get two Wolf amiibos…

Also, less than ONE WEEK before FE:Fates!! Good times!!

      1. Yes! X, and I’m playing through SteamWorld Heist on max difficulty (I finally pegged it was semi-inspired by Firefly/Serenity)

Also my brother and I set my Dad up with the XB1, and we spent his 60th birthday driving around in an armored Limo causing meyhem. He loves GTAV because we can all play together and not really have to do anything complicated. Also played through the Black OPS 3 campaign together.

He asked about Starfox. He feels a little bad we can’t game on Nintendo platforms anymore, but a Weekend of gaming like the N64 days renders all guilt as mute.

So yeah, that’s all between taking my dogs out in the snow and such. ;D

My brother keeps wanting me to try Shadows of Mordor, and a few other next-gen open world, but I told him I’m not touching another until after X. It’s just way too amazing to divide my attention.

        1. Pretty sweet playin with your pops… I have thought for a while that the generations hit a big gap when video games came out and parents couldn’t relate to that (mostly anyway, I know some did and do) but now the generation brought up on games is having kids and that will help the synergy between parent and child.

Still though, pretty envious getting the chance to get down with some virtual ultraviolence with the old man, good for you guys

          1. Thank you sir! He was always anti-GTA when we were kids, but now that we’re all “old enough to know better” – he said it’s a real blast to grab a 4-door car, I usually drive and my bro and pop jump in the back… Then just have all kinds of laughter inducing fun. XD – the last time we had this much online, multiplayer fun was one of the first COD Wii games. Once Wii 3rd party mostly died off due to hardware constraints, and the WiiU’s lack-luster 3rd party support, he held off while I piloted the WiiU and my brother the XBox. – The executive decision on which box to buy him came down simply to – Which system would allow us to all jump on from where we lived, and let us chat and have fun shooting the shit (no pun intended)

It was a harsh 6 hours to get him setup and updated, then a funny but difficult time trying to teach him the basics, but out of no-where, he grabbed a couple cars, drove them to his garage and we were like, “Did you just get it, or have you been screwing with us?” Lol. (it was a little of both.)

OH… And he insisted on getting Rare Replay. Whrm we DO visit, we play Perfect Dark and Bad Fur day. They will always be his favorite multi-player games. Lol

            1. How are you doing on x I will grind all of the playable characters so far to level 50 and I’m on chapter 8 or 9 but will complete it later and I will beat it without skells I will get those later possibly after all playable characters are level 60 at least but there is much more to do then that after level 60

              1. I’m taking a relaxed pace with X. Exploring the shit out of everything… It’s just so gorgeous and easily the best open world game in my opinion.

I respect your beating it without Skells and picking them up later. The world shrinks a little with a Skell, but it’s still so huge, even with Skells you feel how big the environment is. :D

I don’t have my Skell Flight mod yet. I think I’m on Chapter 8!

I’m just living it up. It makes games like Destiny look inferior. I’ll probably sink a few more hundred hours in it!

        2. Glad to know gaming still provides this high level of interaction and fun!

Never had this kind of fun with my papa since he does not care about video games at all…

Keep making good use of your both Xbox One and Wii U!

~*Okay, okay! We get it already! Quit with all of the damn comparison videos already! It’s making me sick of TPHD already & it’s not even March yet!*~

    1. I’m getting it, but these videos are a little excessive. Like I said yesterday. Nintendo needs to start giving us news. This website is suffering with the lack of interesting articles. I feel bad for Sickr haha.
