Video: Here’s 17 Minutes Of Miitomo App In English

Curious about Miitomo which launched today on both iOS and Android in Japan? Well, you can download it if you change your store region as the whole application is in English. Tilmen from Tilmendomination has uploaded the tutorial section to give you a better look at what the communication application is all about. The app will officially launch here in the west sometime this month along with My Nintendo.

    1. I believe the app is really just a profile creator that you will be able to use on future games. I have no proof, but I’m certain your Miitomo character\profile will be used on every mobile game Nintendo develops. Think of Miitomo as the Mii creator on your Wii or Wii U. If you look at it with that perspective, it’s not so bad. I also believe that a Miitomo character will be mandatory to play other Nintendo mobile games, so you might aswell get invested now.

  1. Maybe instead of this dull app we can get the way superior dress up sim game, Girls Mode 3 here in the US. Please Nintendo, holy shit…

Where as girls mode has plenty of charming dialogue, loads of options and customization, runway shows, shop AND home customization, etc etc etc…. unlike this money grabbing subpar avatar personalization experience. Just way more shallow… give us girls mode 3!

    1. Bruh. I’m right there with you.

They look like stupid generic games at first glance, but they’re really well done and crazy addicting *_* The 2nd one for the 3DS was really fun and polished!

      1. Omg I loveeed Style Savvy Trendsetters! It’s easy to dismiss the game because there are so many poor shovel ware doll dress up games by whatever company however the Girls Mode games are VERY detailed with loads of customization. It’s a very good sim game that should appeal to fans of animal crossing and similar games. It’s a huge disappointment Nintendo decided the US didn’t need the franchise :(

  2. I’ve seen this crop up in a “story” from Nintendo Enthusiast, so I’ll put this info here now before misinformation leads to unnecessary whining:

$78 (or 8,800 Yen) is the maximum in-app purchase option of coins you can make in Miitomo. It is NOT a paywall for content. Please keep this in mind if you start hearing people complain about “a $78 microtransaction.” It’s sensationalist journalism capitalizing on a brand new thing that’s hot in the news through misinformation.

    1. not that guy!. he only begs for attention and thinks all the unlikes he gets are from trolls. -_-

        1. the only funny thing about his videos are how he sucks in almost every video game he plays, just turn the volume off :)
sorry i won’t watch your podcast, if you tell me he was not offensive toward anyone ‘cuz Nintendo betrayed him, i will watch it. If he is, i won’t. it’s not the fault of the fans if Nintendo does not dance like he wants.
