Video: Wreck-It Ralph 2 Might Feature Mario

IGN is reporting that Wreck-It Ralph 2 is in the works at Disney and due to the company’s relationship with Nintendo it could feature Mario this time around. The last film had a number of special characters including the one and only, Bowser. Hopefully we should hear more about Wreck-It Ralph 2 in the near future.

No fuck him. Put my bitch lady palutena in there. She’ll be an lovely addition to the big screen😚.

    1. Truly. He would’ve cameod in the first Wreck-It Ralph, but Disney wanted to make sure it was done right.

    2. Not really? It’s a recent comment from the house of mouse himself. Plus with so many shitty Mario games coming out this year. (Color Splash to name a few.) It’s time for the big N to let Mario have his day in a Movie that stars great video game characters and Ralph returning to kick some more ass in the arcade games soon. :)

Hell no!I don’t want Mario poping up at the end sounding like someone is squeezing the shit out of his balls.

    1. It’s pretty great. It’s not just riding off of the success of a game series, like most video game movies. You can tell that the creators loved what they made.

    2. It’s great, and I’m not just saying that because I’m biased. They made it so that those who have never played a game in their lives can enjoy it, but those who have played games get even more out of it, and there are a *ton* of references, not just to games but classic movies as well. I saw it in theaters opening weekend, left VERY satisfied.

    1. I respectfully disagree. I loved the creativity of the original characters and their games- I wish Sugar Rush was a real thing. I think what stopped them from having real, established game icons from having the spotlight came down to royalties- giving them more screen time would have cost more, and given video game movies have a bad track record (Super Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombat movies, anyone?), it probably seemed like an unnecessary risk. NOW though, maybe not.

      1. Hey now, don’t compare the MK movies to the Super Mario Bros movie, which I personally enjoyed even if it did completely ignore the games. The first one was awesome with some of the best casting in a Hollywood movie during the 90s, among other things. As for the second one, it was awesome simply for being perfect for the action junkie that wants to just see some awesome fight scenes & could care less about the story.

      2. If anything, use the Doom movie & Bloodrayne movies as examples since those, I agree, were complete & utter trash. Or use the House of the Dead movies which were corny as fuck. For that matter, use any of the movies based on video games that Uwe Boll has been involved in. lol Except for the first “In the Name of the King” movie which I actually enjoyed because of the casting choices alone (Ray Liotta, Ron Perlman, John Rhys-Davies, & Jason Statham are always entertaining to watch in any movie regardless of how bad everything else is about any movie they star in) because I haven’t played or researched anything about those games to even know anything about them. As for the sequels, no clue as I haven’t watched those & don’t intend to even though I like the casting choices for the hero of those movies.

To be honest, because of the tripe that Uwe Boll has directed, & the Doom movie which he had nothing to do with, least to my current knowledge, the rarely good video game movies get overlooked like the Resident Evil movie series.

        1. Screw it! At this point, I’m sure everyone can agree that Uwe Boll is a blight on the movies based on video game movie genre!
