It looks like Japan will be getting a special Shovel Knight 3DS bundle this coming June. The bundle includes a hard copy of the game along with the Shovel Knight amiibo and costs ￥ 3,083 which is around £20.00 / $28.00.

Unfortunately there’s no sign of the bundle on the Amazon UK or Amazon US sites at this time.

Shovel Knight came out in North America first digitally, as did the physical copies later on. The Shovel Knight amiibo may not have hit NA first, but it’s not like we didn’t get it eventually. Japan is actually getting everything we already have last. Something that happens once in a blue moon with video games.
And I’m glad we are not getting it, almost everybody and their mamas have the game and the amiibo at this point.
