Forget your body, get your wallet ready. First 4 Figures has opened pre-orders for a beautifully detailed statue of everyone’s favorite bounty hunter, Samus Aran. The figure stands at a whopping 20 inches, and features the galactic titan in her ever-popular Vaira Suit. Fans can pick up the standard statue for $384.99 here or spring for the exclusive version here, which goes for $429.99 and includes LED lights that bring Samus to life. You can check out high quality images of the statue and all of the details in the official product description below. Pre-orders are expected to ship in Q1 of 2017.
During her travels throughout the galaxy, Samus Aran can find and equip different suits of armour to protect her against the hostile world around her, and to grant herself numerous different abilities. Of these suits, none of these are more recognisable than the iconic Varia Suit. The Varia suit reduces the damage that Samus takes by up to half, is highly resistant to hot environments and completely nullifies the effects of acid, allowing her to walk through it without injury.
First 4 Figures is proud to showcase Samus in the Varia Suit. Instantly recognisable from games as far back as the original Metroid game on the NES, the Varia Suit has remained a series mainstay, and is here depicted as it was seen during Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Captured in a stunning ¼ scale in hand painted polystone, Samus measures an awesome 20 inches tall, standing upon a base inspired by the series insignia.
This is the exclusive version of the Varia Suit. LEDs have been integrated throughout the entire statue, bringing it to life exactly as seen in the games.
Comes in deluxe full color packaging, hand-numbered base, and includes a special card of authenticity that allows you register your statue, and continue collecting the same number for the next statue in the Metroid Master Arts series.
This is the second piece in the ¼ scale Metroid Master Arts series. If you own the first in the series (the Light Suit) and have authenticated on our website, you will be entitled to receive the same number for the Varia Suit!
I saw the Samus pic, and foolishly thought we where finally getting a new Metroid game 😓
Me too. This looks pretty cool though.
Ugh…all this is doing to me is making me relive all my bad memories of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Such a hard game…
git gud
HOW THE HECK I’M SUPPOSED TO ACCESS THIS AREA?
10 hours later: Wait… what if I used the dark visor…
*door opens*
…
.
Seriously though, 10 hours to enter a new area. My god.
Lol I don’t remember having a hard time with it. Was it really that difficult?
It’s one of those games that it’s very hard to beat without a guide. Not impossible, not Castlevania 2 levels, but very cryptic at certain points.
I did the stupid decision to beat it without using a guide and I found myself sometimes running around for hour to enter an area.
The big issue is the lack of quick travel, which can make trecking through the world a genuine pain in the ass. Sometimes you have to walk for 15 minutes just to get from one area to the other.
It’s also present in the other Prime games, but not to this extent
I wish I could remember how long my first playthrough of Echoes was; I didn’t use a guide either so I’m sure it took quite a while.
I agree though, that game’s backtracking was ridiculous.
And that Boost Guardian fight… that fucking Boost Guardian, man…
Actually I found the boost guardian relatively easy. Sure you’re loosing life, but it’s not too hard to deal him damage. I won on my first try. Other bosses though… ugh. So much ugh.
I got trilogy last year and it took 40-50 hours to beat Prime 1. It then took me 70-80 hours to beat Prime 2. Should’ve used a guide
Actually just checked, I believe I went over 80 ‘O.O
Boy I loved those games…
Really? I’m pretty sure Prime 1 only took me like 25 hours. Maybe I’m misremembering.
I first played it in the trilogy edition for wii. I think that edition saved your total playthrough time. I’ll have to go back and check cause I honestly don’t remember it taking any longer than the first one.
Still prefer the Good smile Zero Suit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
too bad i cant afford it
Oh my god, I am so tempted to buy the LED model. And it’s modeled after the Varia suit used in what is arguably the best and my favorite Metroid title in the series!
That looks legit but it’s too much money to spend on a toy.
Fucking hell. Where can I steal one?
I might just have to buy it and put it next to my light suit samus
Three… th . . thr… three…hundred…eighty…five… dollars ‘O.O
What’s this made of, genuine Chozo material?
I heard it’s actually made of real Metroid Feces.
I’d rather buy this for over 300 bucks then pay around 30-50 bucks for CM:FsF!
Wow, F4F has treated Samus better with this one statue than Nintendo has in 10 years with 2 games.
Burn!
