Pokémon fans have been hard at work creating their very own Pokémon title which is named Pokémon Uranium. The project, which has been in development for nine years, is finally complete and available to download for free on PC. Pokémon Uranium is set in a lush tropical setting and features 150 new custom-made Pokémon. You can check out the game’s v1.0 release in the video below or download the game, here.

Exactly. Just because Nintendo issued a DMCA whatever for Metroid 2 and it was taken down from that site doesn’t mean there aren’t mirrors for it in other places
Even though the new Pokemon games are really great, I kinda missed the charming 2D graphics from the old days. So this will be really fun to play while waiting for Pokemon Sun & Moon!

You seem to be new to ROM hacks. Once they’re released, there’s really nothing Nintendo can do. It’s not like any one site or group is charging for them.
And while this game isn’t a technical ROM hack, it serves the same purpose and function as one.

I tried playing it. I don’t know if its my potato of a computer (which can barely run Skyrim on its lowest settings) but this game lags like HELL to where I don’t even want to play it anymore.
I’m still waiting for 4chan’s Pokemon Sage to be finished.

Hack’d roms and fangames are fun. DMCAs only matter at all to idiots that make a big deal out of their project before it’s even close to being done, getting pres then immediately shut down. For people that are done they don’t matter at fucking all, if the game is finished it is finished. The DMCA on the metroid fangame meant nothing because it was done, they aren’t making money off it anyway and it anyone that wants to play it will be able to forever. The people behind it not hosting the download is meaningless.

Installed it, started it up. No way to fullscreen that I saw, absolutely hated the professor in the beginning. Clicked out of it, 0.3/10 fucking garbage don’t waste time on this

Just made a really bad first impression, I’m out. Lot of games to play, not a wise choice to start out the game with feces, makes me lose all hope that the art direction/fake pokemon/anything will be good from then on out if they can’t even get the professor right.

I see the 9 years plastered and I want them to come out swinging, there is a ton of fan-made pokemon games. I like the see ya kid, it initiates an air that you are older/above me and makes the person reading it visualize you skateboarding away from me after pushing me down. Kind of the final nail in the coffin move, like if you respond I don’t know where you would go from here because “kid” is always used as the big guns for most people, when you have nothing or just plan on ending it. I would of pointed out *rolls eyes* but that I just found more weird than autistic (you could now make some comeback about me using autistic, but autistic people actually will do stuff like that)

You didn’t even play Long Enough to deserve to give it a Rating. That’s like looking at the Mario 64 Title Screen 20 Years on, and giving the Whole Game a 0/10, because you don’t like the Title Screen.

Downloaded it before Nintendo could shut it down! It’s fun so far
By looking at the trailer I just can’t seem to get interested by it. It looks like a generic Pokémon game, whitout anything being too special… I can’t really form a proper opinion without playing it, but it doesn’t entice me

Well, half an hour in and I can already say I don’t like that you take an aptitude test to determine your starter rather than just picking one the old-fashioned way- I can’t get to see them and learn their types first?
Other than that, it’s been fairly good so far.
