The Nintendo Switch Presentation Event Is Estimated To Be About An Hour Long

We are just days away from the big Nintendo Switch presentation event, and we now know how long the presentation will be. The event will be broadcast in Japanese with English voiceovers, and Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima will be presenting. The event itself is estimated to be an hour in length, similar to their E3 presentations. The event begins in North America at 11pm Eastern Time, as you can see by the promotional image below. In the UK, it is 4am. It’s 5am in Europe.

  1. This is a pretty satisfying length (innuendo no intendo). Part of me wishes it was just a little longer, but I guess that’s what the treehouse is for.

  2. WOOOA! I tought it would be just 35-40 min long! If it is really at least 55 min it will make me even more excited!!!

If it’s not, they should have just given us the full reveal months ago. :/

  3. One hour is perfect. The treehouse next day will keep us updated. Come on Nintendo. Give us a reason to brag, its been a generation!

  4. From another comment:
Nico Nico isn’t %100 accurate since it seems they only have times stamps for every half hour, back at E3 2014 Nico Nico said the Digital Event will be 30 minutes long when it really was 45 minutes long. So we will see, but I expect it to be an hour to two hours long.

  5. But the nintendo switch presentation starts when I’m sleeping. So I will watch it later and eat goodies. Later I will sit in the corner waiting for the console is coming out.

      1. I wake up at 6 usually, go to work by 7 if I feel like it, my actual work time begins at 8, so the timing is actually fine for me.

  6. Prolly not going to buy it but I hope it does well for them because I dont want nintendo to leave the hardware business. That would be tragic for the gaming industry.

    1. Don’t worry. Nintendo isn’t going anywhere. They’re here to stay! I guarantee it… all set in stone!

  7. Thank goodness, I was worried that it would continue into the night and I wouldn’t get any sleep.

11pm Eastern Time? I’m in Central so 10pm for me.

I hope they are able to cram everything I want to see in that one hour. If not, they must REALLY want us to watch the Treehouse people. :/ *shrug* No matter. That’s why MNN is useful: to give me news when it’s from a source I don’t care to watch. xD
