Since 4 player games is a staple of many video games these days, I’d imagine it will allow 4 players. It’d be incredibly stupid of Nintendo to go back in such a horrible way since they could be returning to their former glory.

  1. I hate to assume but I’m gonna say 4 players is a standard by default now a days. Up to 8 would be nice. I thought for sure we’d see more than one sku with larger storage, like a pro version and a basic version.

    1. I am too, with people’s reactions I was afraid the packaging wouldn’t even include that. Looks comfortable enough that I won’t necessarily need a Switch Pro controller.

  3. As much as I want to get this at launch I’ll probably not have enough saved up in time unless the lawn starts growing like crazy and people are extra generous for my birthday. That said, the price is right at the tail end of what I said would be acceptable so I’m OK with it.

    1. Start cutting the neighbor’s grass, the other neighbor’s grass, the park’s grass, the schools’ grass, start cultivating and selling your own grass, make an experiment with different grass and grow it in space like conditions, make edible grass, grass that kills moles and voles, grass that animals can’t piss or crap on. You got this man. i believe in you. Don’t forget about buying the Switch.

  4. Lame that they still did not detail the specs of the system. And yes it will support up to 8 local multi-player. The games looked nice but they did not look anywhere near PS4 caliber.

  6. Honestly I was very disappointed they didnt show any games that showcased the Switches power. I mean, c’mon…

I remember when the Gamecube was revealed. They showed Luigis Mansion and everyone in the audience nearly shat thier pants. Nobody had ever seen shadows and animations like that in a video game before. It was truly amazing…

Fast forward to the Switch, and im speechless… and not in a good way…

All the games they showed besides Zelda looked like they could have ran on the original Wii. They didnt showcase anything with good visuals.. Again, besides Zelda, but we have already seen that….

    And motion controls!? Again…? really?

    Fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk off.

You were warned not to go into this expecting as much as you did. You were doomed to be disappointed with all of your expectations. You set them WAY too high. And there is still a chance it will have some good graphics later down the road. Remember, SNES & N64 got some better looking games later in their lifetimes before they were replaced. Complete opposite of me, though, as I’m really feeling it! (Shulk pun definitely intended!) Oh & get over the motion control part as VR has it as an important aspect for some, if not many, games. 3rd parties are more likely to be on board this time around with motion controls. If not, they are full of shit & should definitely be ignored for being Nintendo haters if they’ll bitch about Nintendo doing motion controls only to turn around & make VR games that use them.

      1. Yea I understand motion controls is a part of the Switch. But it shouldn’t have been the main feature or selling point. If they just would have shown Zelda and Mario first, gave the release date followed by the Xenoblade trailer I think you would have had a completely different reaction. Not just from me but from everyone. You would have won the crowd in the first twenty minutes, and they wouldn’t have minded sitting through some shovel ware. Instead they showed all the shovelware first and killed off all hype right off the bat.

Honestly my expectations were not that high. There are hardly any launch titles. Nintendo has to prove to me the Switch is not going to have a game drought like the Wii U did. So far it’s not looking good..

I’m still buying the Switch for Zelda, but i disappointed in the presentation. It was sloppy with a horrible translator.
