UK video game retailer GAME has listed a release date for the frenzied fighting title Arms for the Nintendo Switch. The retailer says that the game is coming on April 15th. Nintendo has previously stated that the fast paced game is coming to the Switch this spring. The release date might be provisional, so we shall just have to wait and see.

I’m interested, but I think I’ll wait for reviews. If the Joy-Con motion controls aren’t one-to-one, it may be a deal breaker for me.

I know, but I think part of the novelty and appeal of Arms is in the Joy-Con controls. This is me personally; I can’t speak for anyone else.
I wasn’t interested in this game at all until I heard the motion controls are optional. Might check it out if there’s nothing else I’m interested in around that time.
Honestly, the best part of the Nintendo Switch Reveal presentation was the revelation of Arms. I think it is the most intriguing game that Nintendo is making for the Switch and the most surprising. Plus, the game looks like it will use the joy-con controllers in a much needed manner to showcase the console’s abilities.
I’m impressed that Nintendo has thought up this new IP. I was hoping for one, but did not raise my hopes too high, because Nintendo usually likes to rely on already existing franchises for major AAA game releases. I think I can say with confidence that Splatoon is definitely a motivating factor into the creation of Arms.
Also, as a side-not, the character designs in ARMS look phenomenal. Gives the game a great atmosphere. When I finally get a Switch, this is going to the game on the top of my list to acquire.
It looks f**kin retarded. You might get about an hr …maybe 2 of gameplay before you will want to kill yourself for spending $80 on it. This paired with 1 2 switch should have been included with the Switch for no charge.
As much as this game looked fun, I’ll wait for it to drop in price. Then again, it’s a fucking Nintendo game so I’ll have to wait til I can buy it used for 20 bucks.
