Nintendo of America has uploaded two Arms videos for the Nintendo Switch. The videos showcase the five characters that have been announced so far as well as the multiple weapons and the attributes at your disposal. Arms has yet to receive a firm release date but is heading to the Nintendo Switch this spring. So hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.

I like how you can mix and match different arms for anyone. This will add a good amount of strategy.

I hope they introduce more characters later on because it’d be sad if they only had those 5 characters.

I’m sure there will be more than 5 characters right out of the box. It’d be nice to have a Nintendo Direct soon to clarify questions about this game and Splatoon 2.

I ain’t giving them $50 for 5 people!
They can forget that!
Give me 20 at the least. Then I can see a worthy $50 purchase. But right now at a 5 character roster? This is a $20 title.

I know, like Zelda has only one character to choose from? What’s up with that? That’s like $60 per character! Nintendo is so stupid.

Zelda isn’t a Multiplayer heavy game, this is.

You’re a special type of stupid, huh?

No way it’s just 5 characters, it would be ridicolous. I hope Nintendo is more trustworthy than this.

Relax, Grouchy Smurf! According to the dev team at Nintendo, there will be MORE characters in ARMS. Don’t worry a singular thing about it.

The more I see it the less intrigued I am. I’m thinking on skipping this. Motion controls are a plus but it does seem stiff and boring in the end.
Mmmhh…

So Arms has a rating now… Looks like it won’t be long before release if that’s any indication.
We need a Direct on this one- I want to know what I’m getting into. More characters, more glove types, stage info, mode info, etc.

The excitement for this game is gone for me. It was gone about 2 weeks after the Switch reveal in January. Maybe a Nintendo Direct will change that. I doubt it, though, since I’m still unsure if I’m gonna go all in with the Switch right now. It might just end up being my Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem, & Smash console.

Shitty internal memory & having to buy expensive Micro SD Cards with no option for External Hard Drives is not helping my mindset on the Switch either. (Yeah. I’m not letting this area of contention go so fucking deal with it, bitches!)

Define “expensive,” because I just picked up a 32 gig Micro SD card plus adapter for $20 at Gamestop, and that seems reasonable to me.

I’m only interested in the best Micro SD Cards, dependability over price, so a 20 dollar one is out of the question.

Understandable. The one I got was a Sandisk, which I’ve always had good experiences with.

After hearing about their cards melting, I don’t think I’ll be trusting them any time soon. (Wait. It was Sandisk with that issue, right?)

It was, but I think it was 128GB cards that had the problem. I haven’t seen any SD cards larger than 64GB for sensible prices though. I have no reason to go that high though- with few exceptions like Splatoon 2, if I can get a physical copy of a game, I will opt for that one, so I don’t require much HD space.

Since I’m still on the fence in spite of owning my own Switch, I haven’t decided if I’ll need a Micro SD Card with a lot of data or not for mine yet. Hopefully E3 will blow me right over to the Nintendo side of the fence, though. Til then, I’m keeping my expectations, and my spending on anything Switch, to a damn low minimum. Other than BotW for Switch, I’ve only got the Sheikah Eye carrying case just in case I do end up using it for portability for the Switch which also came with some game card & Micro SD Card carrying cases.

Looks like I’m way ahead of you then, as I also have Super Bomberman R (take it from me, not worth the $50 price tag- not a terrible game, just not worth that price), FAST RMX (COMPLETELY worth $20), and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (yeah, that makes it the third device I own it on XD), with plans for Splatoon 2, Yooka-Laylee, and possibly ARMS in the immediate-to-near-future department.
All Nintendo has to do is announce F-Zero for Switch at E3 (or anytime, really) and that will make getting Switch 100% worth it- seriously, I will drop whatever I’m doing, race over to the nearest GS and pay for it in full the moment I hear it’s a thing.

I think I heard Konami might be adding stuff to Bomberman R at some point. If true & it’s free DLC, maybe it’ll be worth 50 later on for you guys that own it & for those that are on the fence about getting it.
