A significant amount of news in regards to Sonic Forces was revealed today, but it turns out that the new custom character trailer was not the only video that people got to see. 30 seconds of gameplay was uploaded that shows off a red wolf custom character with a flamethrower. We now know that the city level that we have been seeing for the past year is called “Park Avenue”, but what may be more striking to some is that there is going to be vocal themes for levels. This basically looks like Colors 2.
At first I was “uh-oh, SEGA just handed out the keys to OC Hell” but, as I have a soft spot for avatar customization features in games, I may be hooked on this.
I wasn’t gonna get the game but the ability to create my own character might be too hard to pass up.
Lyrics in the music! We haven’t had that since Sonic Colors. Not during gameplay since like SA2, unless you count the throwbacks to City escape in Sonic Generations.
