There have been rumours for quite some time that Pokkén Tournament could come to the Nintendo Switch. The arcade version has been fairly active with the team adding new characters that have yet to come to the Wii U version of the game. Japanese retailer Sinobi listed a Nintendo Switch arcade stick as compatible with Pokkén Tournament, after they realised their error they removed that specific piece of blurb. We have E3 just around the corner so we may find something out then.
The Switch is doomed without GC controller support
Well, it has USB ports, so I bet they will add support to the Wii U ports
The instant they announce that I’ll be buying a Switch. It’s the only thing keeping me from getting it tbh
Switch is really Wii U2 with better sales.
*confirmed*
Bring Pokken Tourney on with the additional characters.
Yeah, Darkrai, Empoleon, Croagunk and Scizor were missing on the wii u. I think it’ll be too hard to implement local multiplayer on the Switch tho, the screen is just not big enough, I mean the Wii U ver. didn’t have splitscreen multiplayer even on TV. But hey, if Arms works, I think Pokken Tournament will work too.

And playstation 4 is playstation 3+1 that means is playstation 4
And Switch is wii u2 and that means it is the Switch
Logic mind blown
nope… it means it is the Wii 3
Or maybe n64 5 with motion controlls and smaller cartridges :P
The Wii U is dead
Way to point out the obvious.
I appreciate your empirical mind Thanos *cough cough*
So much i care what you “appreciate”
I can see that how good you can “appreciate” the switch calling it wii u 2 with good sales LMAO:P
Lmao 😂 I love the Switch. Could be slightly disrespectful calling it Wii U2 when it’s much faster in many respects lol
mode7superfx says: “Switch is really Wii U2 with better sales”
Then again says :”Lmao 😂 I love the Switch. Could be slightly disrespectful calling it Wii U2 when it’s much faster in many respects lol”
hahahahahahahahahaha are you a politician? The lies are real !:P
(yes maybe you made sarcasm ok )
The wii u is the worst home console ever made from Nintendo so yes it is dead!! Mind blown again
Never played it on wiiu so I would buy it. I didn’t get to play lots of games on wiiu though so I support any that they may bring around
}{ It wouldn’t matter if it did… }{
Oh cool, a game that already exists! SCOREEEEE!
It did

See everyone. I told you this game might get a enhance port. I mentioned that a while back.
HOLLY SHIT IT WAS YOU THEN………………….
What do you mean it was me?
As long as they don’t try to sell the extra characters separately I’m fine with buying this again.
DO IT!!!
Yeehaw more games I already bought on Wii U and don’t play anymore! E3 needs to show games that are new for switch, no more ports. They have had wayyy too much time to prepare new games for this system and anyone giving them the pass for all these ports really needs to think about what it is they’re encouraging here.
Having buyers remorse already little brother? Should’ve held strong!

Soooo basically they’re gonna port like every Wii U game at this point according to all the rumors? BOTW, MK8, Smash, Pokken, several indies. (Obviously I’m exaggerating)
Well that is mainly bcoz that the switch doesn’t have backwards compatibility, which is quite unfortunate. But that makes it better if people haven’t played the wii u versions and would rather pay more money for an enhanced port or a “deluxe” version
True. A lot of people didn’t buy the Wii U. So this gives them the chance to play some of those games like you said.
