This E3 was full of surprises and great games and the Nintendo Spotlight was no exception with a number of publications awarding Super Mario Odyssey game of the show. Nintendo of America has handily produced an image of the majority of games coming to the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Switch this year and theres of course a number of big hitters. Check them all out below and hopefully there will be some surprises left to come.

    1. They shouldn’t have used the word “Winter”. Winter begins 10 days before the end of the year, and all these games are supposed to come out in 2017. Those games should be listed as Holiday.

    1. i still think it needs more (remember just because you have a lot of games doesn’t mean everyone is going to be interested in all the games)

        1. Wekl pikmin but I guess thats coming already. A new 2d platformer would be nice this year but we will have to wait till next year

  1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch!}

    Switch Buys: Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

    Possible Switch Buys: Mario+Rabbids, Fire Emblem Warriors.

    3DS Buys: Metroid: Samus Returns.

    Possible 3DS Buys: Ever Oasis, either Pokemon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon (not both.)

    Another game in that list that interests me is Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star (I’m interested in the Fate series.) I will most likely get on PS4, though

    1. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch!}

      If I get Fate/Extella at all, that is. I might not bother since I got plenty of other games I’m far more interested in: both ones I already own & ones I plan to own.

  2. This first year is much better than the Wii U’s. The Switch overall is looking better than the Wii U. There’s many great things along the way like Fire Emblem, Pokemon, and even Metroid. I guess it’s cool to see the 3DS still supported with good games, too. I want them to bring out more Switch stuff! Switch! Switch! Switch! But, I understand though. 3DS is their money making machine, too. So they’re not giving up on it yet. Lol.

      1. Eventually. There’s a good amount I want so far, but there’s still tons of games I don’t have on other platforms. It just keeps on growing. My Steam wishlist alone is already over 100.

    1. The 3DS lineup is looking a bit weak though and I doubt 2018 is going to fair any better for it.

      It’s almost as if it’s on it’s last legs.

      1. I’m sure it’s almost on it’s way out now, but that’s fine considering it’s been here over 6 years now. For me, those new titles are just even more to put in my backlog. I still haven’t played a ton of games on the 3DS. When it finally dies, I won’t be done with it. That’s for sure.

  3. For me, it’s only Splatoon 2, Japanese Monster Hunter XX, Super Mario Oddyssey, and Xenoblade 2. I still game on my 3DS and Wii U, so no crisis for good games.
